This paper introduces the design of a heating boiler control system based on PLC and IFIX. In this system, combining Premium PLC with IFIX4.5, industry Ethernet TCP/IP protocol communication is adopted to constructer the monitoring system of heating boiler though PLC and PC. Unity4.0 is used to design the ladder diagrams for the coal burning boiler to automatically realize burning process control and hearth pressure adjustment. IFIX4.5 is adopted to develop supervision control programs, which have perfect function, handy operation, fine visualization and strong man-machine interface.
