According to the rapid development of modem industry, and many power and electronic equipment been used in power system, the quality of power is more and more important. This paper analyzes the cause of power quality, and then designs the hardware system of power quality monitoring system. Based on this, a software system with graphics user interface is also designed in this paper. Finally, after experiment, it shows this power quality monitoring system is friendly to use with stable performance

The paper presents the results of scientific research, firstly, the effectiveness of the use of energy storage systems as stabilizers of alternating current frequency as a part of gas piston installations in decentralized and centralized (operating in parallel with the power system) and their simultaneous use for excitation forcing of generators during voltage dips is proved, secondly, The efficiency of using increased field-forcing ratio of the synchronous generator of the gas piston installations is proved to improve the power quality of industrial consumers.

The power transfer capability of a system determines the power quality and the reliability of the power system. The transmission side of the power system is of different configuration. This paper involves the modeling of a three-phase multi-machine system with nine bus configurations. The system is subjected to different fault conditions. The system is modeled with the help of MATLAB- Simulink. The power quality of the system is analyzed. The system active and the reactive power can be compensated by the FACTS devices. The FACTS devices are power compensating devices that play a vital role in increasing the power quality of the system. The three-phase multi-machine system is integrated with the FACTS devices like STATCOM and UPFC and different parameters where analyzed
