Aiming at the irregularity of the fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer planetary gear, a fault diagnosis method based on support vector data description (SVDD) is proposed. The working condition of the helicopter is complex and changeable, and the fault characteristics of the planetary gear also show irregularity with the change of working conditions. It is impossible to diagnose the fault by the regularity of a single fault feature; so a method of SVDD based on Gaussian kernel function is used. By connecting the energy characteristics and fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer running state signal and performing vector quantization, the planetary gear of the helicopter main reducer is characterized, and simultaneously couple the multi-channel information, which can accurately characterize the operational state of the planetary gear’s state.

In this research, there was considered a challenge of constructing a system of scientific knowledge of the shot conditions in judicial ballistics. It was observed that there are underlying factors that are intended to ensureits [scientific knowledge] consistency: identification of the list of shot conditions, which require consideration when solving expert-level research tasks on weapons, cartridges and traces of their action; determination of the communication systems in the course of objects’ interaction, which present the result of exposure to the conditions of the shot; classification of the shot conditions based on the grounds significant for solving scientific and practical problems. The article contains the characteristics of a constructive, functional factor (condition) of weapons and cartridges influence, environmental and fire factors, the structure of the target and its physical properties, situational and spatial factors, and projectile energy characteristics. Highlighted are the forms of connections formed in the course of objects’ interaction, proposed are the author’s classifications of forensically significant shooting conditions with them being divided on the basis of the following criteria: production from the object of interaction, production from a natural phenomenon, production method, results weapon operation and utilization, duration of exposure, type of structural connections between interaction objects, number of conditions that apply when firing and the forming traces.

AbstractThe motion is depicted as a sequence of steps of a finite residence time. The spot motion affects essentially only the energy characteristics Te which in comparison to the stationary characteristics Tes are shifted to smaller values. Hereby the critical currents I0, I1 are raised in comparison to the corresponding stationary limits I0s, I1s. Particularly attractive are the phenomena found in connection with the dependence of the spot velocity ʋ on the spot current I. If the spot velocity increases with the spot current stronger than ʋ ∞ I1/2 then the E-diagram reveals the existence of an upper limit lu for the spot current. This result can be used to explain qualitatively the experimentally observed phenomena of "spot multiplicity" and “spot extinction”.Quantitative conclusions are obstructed by the lack of knowledge about the velocity dependence on the spot current, ʋ(I). Experimental and theoretical studies to provide a better understanding of the physical background and the analytical laws describing the motion of the cathode spots are urgently needed.
