With the development of network technology and fault diagnosis technology, monitoring and diagnosis methods for the CNC machine tools had a great change. In this paper, an online monitoring and remote diagnosis system for CNC machine tools was built. The system was consisted of the multi-channel online acquisition system and remote fault diagnosis system. The online acquisition system achieved a real-time monitoring for CNC machine tools. The remote fault diagnosis system provided the management of devices and assistant for experts to analyze data which was uploaded from acquisition system. The system offered real-time state information of CNC machine tools and reduced downtime of machine effectively.

A networking and intelligent online monitoring and fault diagnosis system for large-scale rotating machinery is developed according to requirements of an iron & steel enterprise. On the aspect of networking, a mixed structure of C/S and B/S is adopted, and the system integrates local online monitoring and diagnosis, remote monitoring and diagnosis, and remote diagnosis center. On the aspect of intelligent diagnosis, a multi-symptom comprehensive parallel diagnosis technology is adopted based on expert system, neural network and fuzzy logic. Finally, main functional modules and its realization are introduced. Application shows that the system runs normally, and the expected objective is achieved.

Aero-engine pipeline is the cardiovascular of aero-engine, which directly affects the safety and reliability of planes. However, the pipeline has complex structure and is easily broken by the harsh operation environment. Therefore, the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of aero-engine pipeline play one of the most important role to ensure the aero-engine safe and reliable. Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor (FBGS) owns several characteristics, such as anti-electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, small size, performance stability, long lifecycle, as well as easy to constitute distributed multi-point system. In this paper, a condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for aero-engine pipeline, including online monitoring and offline diagnosis, is proposed. Moreover, online monitoring based on temperature and strain signals and offline fault diagnosis based on simulated vibration signals of aero-engine pipeline are explained in details. According to the experimental results, the proposed system is useful and effective.

Equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis is a focus in the researching the industry. With the improvement of the safety, stability and reliability about the equipment; and the application of computer network technology, signal analysis and processing technology, these make more and more attention that online monitoring and fault diagnosis mode are based on network. In the context, combined with “The Online Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System of Gas Fan in Converter OG” system in some steelmaking plant, the gas fan is taken as research object, the monitoring vibration and fault diagnosis system about the gas fan will be made and developed in this paper. The practice shows that the scheme of the developed system is feasible and practical. Convenient operation, inspection rapidly, diagnosis accuracy highly, which have satisfied the production need and remarkable economic benefit for the corporation.

Steady operation was one of the main objectives of wind turbine controlling. Online monitoring and fault diagnosis system had been installed on the wind turbine, the characters of system natural frequency were obtained by comparing collecting datum in site with theory analysis result. Wind turbine rotation speed should avoid [8.4r/min,10r/min] base on the characters to guarantee no resonance and avoid severe vibration. Such realizes wind turbine steady operation.
