A networking and intelligent online monitoring and fault diagnosis system for large-scale rotating machinery is developed according to requirements of an iron & steel enterprise. On the aspect of networking, a mixed structure of C/S and B/S is adopted, and the system integrates local online monitoring and diagnosis, remote monitoring and diagnosis, and remote diagnosis center. On the aspect of intelligent diagnosis, a multi-symptom comprehensive parallel diagnosis technology is adopted based on expert system, neural network and fuzzy logic. Finally, main functional modules and its realization are introduced. Application shows that the system runs normally, and the expected objective is achieved.

The fault diagnosis of the history, present situation and main trend is reviewed. Based on a comparison of the traditional remote monitoring and diagnosis system, provides the architecture of a remote monitoring and diagnosis system. The remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system architecture for two dust removal fan remote monitoring system, the related research and development of the function and fault diagnosis research of the monitoring system, through the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system can understand two dust removal fan running status, ensure the wind machine running status in the design constraints. It is proposed based on a nonlinear autoregressive moving average model, tested the sunspot data, then the model is applied to fault diagnosis of fan, the experimental results show that, the linear model and the traditional prediction model, has the high prediction accuracy, a new method is proposed for the Metallurgic Fan Machinery Fault diagnosis.

The rotor is one of the most core components of the rotating machinery and its working states directly influence the working states of the whole rotating machinery. There exists much uncertainty in the field of fault diagnosis in the rotor system. This paper analyses the familiar faults of the rotor system and the corresponding faulty symptoms, then establishes the rotor’s Bayesian network model based on above information. A fault diagnosis system based on the Bayesian network model is developed. Using this model, the conditional probability of the fault happening is computed when the observation of the rotor is presented. Thus, the fault reason can be determined by these probabilities. The diagnosis system developed is used to diagnose the actual three faults of the rotor of the rotating machinery and the results prove the efficiency of the method proposed.

This paper presents the design scheme of monitoring management and fault diagnosis of open CNC system based on Internet, the system hardware structure introduces network technology three-tier monitoring mode based on field control layer and process monitoring control layer and remote fault diagnosis layer, the system software design includes CNC system management and monitoring and fault diagnosis. The paper integrates condition monitoring and fault diagnosis and expert system technology into CNC system monitoring and management, and analyzes the requirements of distributed numerical control system, and details description system model of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system. The practice has proved that the system design of open remote monitoring and fault diagnosis is practicality and feasibility.

In this paper, a distributed monitoring and intelligent diagnosis system is designed for large-scale electro-hydraulic devices, based on the utilization of information fusion technology. As a result of using multi-sensor data level, feature level and decision-making level information fusion methods, both precision and real-time performance of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis have been greatly improved, which leads to an advance in the accuracy of monitoring and diagnosis.
