In this paper, a class of fractional complex dynamical networks is synchronized via pinning impulsive control. At first, a comparison principle is established for fractional impulsive differential equations. Then the synchronization criterion is obtained by using the derived comparison principle. Examples are given to illustrate the results.

This paper investigates the mean-square exponential synchronization issues of delayed stochastic complex dynamical networks with switching topology and impulsive control. By using the Lyapunov functional method, impulsive control theory, and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approaches, some sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the mean-square exponential synchronization of delay complex dynamical network with switch topology, which are independent of the network size and switch topology. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results in the end.

The pinning synchronization problem is investigated for complex dynamical networks with hybrid coupling via impulsive control. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, some novel synchronization criteria are derived and an impulsive pinning control law is proposed. By introducing a differential inequality for systems with piecewise constant arguments, it is not necessary to establish any relationship between the norms of the error states with or without piecewise constant arguments. Typical numerical examples are utilized to illustrate the validity and improvements as regards conservativeness of the theoretical results.
