Abstract A rapid and sensitive method of analysis in which high-speed liquid chromatography was used with ultraviolet absorption detection was developed for determining residues of Thompson- Hayward TH 6040 (N-(4-chlorophenyl)-N'- (2,6-dinuorobenzoyl)urea) in cows' milk. The larvicide is extracted from whole milk with ethyl acetate, and the lipids are removed by partitioning between hexane and acetonitrile. After evaporation of the acetonitrile, the residue is dissolved in ethanol, and aliquots are injected into a liquid chromatograph, using methanol-water (1+1) as the mobile phase in a packed column. Recovery of TH 6040 from cows' milk is essentially quantitative, and no interfering substances appear on the chromatogram. The lowest detectable level was 10 ng. Milk from a cow fed 1 mg larvicide/kg body weight daily in the diet was analyzed by this procedure, and no detectable residues (<0.1 ppm) were found over a 15 week sampling interval.

On the basis of the relevant identification theory of pseudo-random code signal, the signals of CSAMT are divided into three parts according to the frequency of the signal. The signals which are susceptible to 50Hz interference signal and its harmonic components should be set by pseudo-random code way. Others are set by single square waveform way. The Control and signal generation software of the transmitter system is built on the advanced virtual instrument platform, LabVIEW. The hardware of the transmitter system is mainly composed of host computer, data acquisition card, high-speed optocoupler, IGBT driver module and four IGBT switches. The data acquisition card generate PWM signals, the high-speed optocoupler isolates low-voltage part and high-voltage part. IGBT drive module and four IGBT switches constitute high-voltage part. Entire transmitter system is suitable for different environments and research tasks, the transmit frequency are adjustable, and the pseudo-random code signal has strong capability to suppress the interference signals. The control software on host computer is simple and clear. There is good prospect for the use.

In this paper, a Mobility Assistive System (NOVA-MAS) and a model-driven development approach are proposed to support the acquisition and analysis of data, infrastructures control, and dissemination of information along public roads. A literature review showed that the work related to mobility assistance of pedestrians in wheelchairs has a gap in ensuring their safety on road. The problem is that pedestrians in wheelchairs and scooters often do not enjoy adequate and safe lanes for their circulation on public roads, having to travel sometimes side by side with vehicles and cars moving at high speed. With NOVA-MAS, city infrastructures can obtain information regarding the environment and provide it to their users/vehicles, increasing road safety in an inclusive way, contributing to the decrease of the accidents of pedestrians in wheelchairs. NOVA-MAS not only supports information dissemination, but also data acquisition from sensors and infrastructures control, such as traffic light signs. For that, it proposed a development approach that supports the acquisition of data from the environment and its control while using a tool framework, named IOPT-Tools (Input-Output Place-Transition Tools). IOPT-Tools support controllers’ specification, validation, and implementation, with remote operation capabilities. The infrastructures’ controllers are specified through IOPT Petri net models, which are then simulated using computational tools and verified using state-space-based model-checking tools. In addition, an automatic code generator tool generates the C code, which supports the controllers’ implementation, avoiding manual codification errors. A set of prototypes were developed and tested to validate and conclude on the feasibility of the proposals.
