As a hot topic in supply chain management, fuzzy method has been widely used in logistics center location selection to improve the reliability and suitability of the logistics center location selection with respect to the impacts of both qualitative and quantitative factors. However, it does not consider the consistency and the historical assessments accuracy of experts in predecisions. So this paper proposes a multicriteria decision making model based on credibility of decision makers by introducing priority of consistency and historical assessments accuracy mechanism into fuzzy multicriteria decision making approach. In this way, only decision makers who pass the credibility check are qualified to perform the further assessment. Finally, a practical example is analyzed to illustrate how to use the model. The result shows that the fuzzy multicriteria decision making model based on credibility mechanism can improve the reliability and suitability of site selection for the logistics center.

The demands for energy in general and electrical power in particular in the process of industrialization–modernization in Vietnam are increasing. Although other renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power have been prioritized, they cannot compensate for the shortages of electricity in Vietnam; moreover, traditional energy sources in Vietnam are not endless and will soon reach exhaustion. Nowadays, the government has chosen a solution to maximize domestic energy resources, i.e., develop renewable energy combined with importing coal and gas in appropriate proportions with the construction of nuclear power plants (NPP), which may be the optimal solution to ensure energy security, environmental protection, and sustainable development. However, site selection for construction of a nuclear power plant is one of the most difficult decisions that management faces. Thus, the authors proposed multicriteria decision-making (MCDM), including a fuzzy analytic network process (FANP) and technique for order preference by similarity of an ideal solution (TOPSIS) for NPP location selection in Vietnam. In the first stages of this research, the weight of all criteria and subcriteria will be calculated by an ANP model using fuzzy logic. A TOPSIS model is proposed for ranking all potential locations in the final stage. The results reveal that Binh Thuan is the best place for building an NPP in Vietnam. The contributions of this research include a fuzzy multicriteria decision-making (F-MCDM) approach for NPP site selection in Vietnam. This research also utilizes the evolution of a new approach that is flexible and practical for the decision-maker and provides useful guidelines for NPP site selection in countries around the world.

The information expression and modeling of decision-making are critical problems in the fuzzy decision theory and method. However, existing trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers (TrNNs) and neutrosophic Z-numbers (NZNs) and their multicriteria decision-making (MDM) methods reveal their insufficiencies, such as without considering the reliability measures in TrNN and continuous Z-numbers in NZN. To overcome the insufficiencies, it is necessary that one needs to propose trapezoidal neutrosophic Z-numbers (TrNZNs), their aggregation operations, and an MDM method for solving MDM problems with TrNZN information. Hence, this study first proposes a TrNZN set, some basic operations of TrNZNs, and the score and accuracy functions of TrNZN and their ranking laws. Then, the TrNZN weighted arithmetic averaging (TrNZNWAA) and TrNZN weighted geometric averaging (TrNZNWGA) operators are presented based on the operations of TrNZNs. Next, an MDM approach using the proposed aggregation operators and score and accuracy functions is established to carry out MDM problems under the environment of TrNZNs. In the end, the established MDM approach is applied to an MDM example of software selection for revealing its rationality and efficiency in the setting of TrNZNs. The main advantage of this study is that the established approach not only makes assessment information continuous and reliable but also strengthens the decision rationality and efficiency in the setting of TrNZNs.
