Nerol is an acyclic type monoterpene with important biological activities. However, the low solubility in aqueous media is a limiting factor for its user. Cyclodextrins have been widely used in order to improve the solubility, stability and bioavailability of nonpolar molecules through the formation of inclusion complexes. Thus, the present study consists in the development of nerol inclusion complex in combination with the β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) followed by characterizing by thermal analysis and spectrophotometric absorption in the infrared (FTIR). The results suggest a complexation of nerol with β-CD having detours and changed the intensity of various bands. The thermo gravimetric curve of CI found to indicate an output of solvating water molecules from the complex cavity formed for replacement of drug molecules probably included. Thus, it is concluded a possibility to obtain inclusion complexes of nerol monoterpene with β-CD, which will increase its solubility and facilitate delivery process.

Complex cavity generally is machined in 3 axis or 3+2 axis machine tools, it has large amount of metal to be removed. For complex cavity machining, the cutting speed of ball end mill`s head point is zero, which makes its end milling ability poor; Torus cutter `s flat bottom width is wide, which causes curvature interference and concave-uncut. So this article designs a new kind of cutter for complex cavity roughing and semi-finishing, which can improve ball end mill`s poor end milling ability and decrease flat-end width. The simulation results show that the new cutter`s feasibility of machining complex cavity is better, and it can obviously reduce the amount of owe cutting compared with the torus cutter; At the same time, the new cutter can improve machining efficiency by 32.4% compared with the ball end mill, and good surface can also be generated.

The edger mill stand belonged to the oversized integrated-casted stand-type heavy parts, if it was machined on the planer milling and boring machine, above 90% of the milling and boring process could be completed by only clamping for two times, and more accurate values could be obtained. Improved and changed the numerically-controlled process of this part in the machining process, and all working procedures of the edger mill stand were machined on the numerically-controlled floor-type boring machine with the diameter of 260, thereby accumulating the experience of machining the stand parts with complex cavity sizes and further expanding the scope of numerically-controlled floor boring machine process. The improvement and implementation of NC process on this workrpiece is of important meaning of reference for the kind of parts.

A rapid casting method for complex parts is presented. In this method, casting moulds with complex cavity are manufactured by self-created rapid prototyping approach which called Selected Laser Partitioning for Prototyping. After surface coating treatment for moulds, complex parts are obtained by centrifugal casting. As application cases, metal impeller was casted by this method. A self-developed five-axis coordinate measurement machine was used to process the surface measuring of impeller. The Dimension accuracy grade of impeller is CT-3 and the surface roughness is Ra 6.3µm through making comparisons directly between CAD model and point cloud data of impeller surface. The result shows that this rapid casting method which has the characters of simple technology and low production cost reaches the level of precision casting.
