A program for a high-temperature design analysis and defect assessment has been developed for an elevated temperature evaluation according to the RCC-MRx for Generation IV and fusion reactor systems. The program, called ‘HITEP_RCC-MRx,’ consists of three modules: ‘HITEP_RCC-DBA,’ which computerizes the design-by-analysis (DBA) for class 1 components such as the pressure vessel and heat exchangers according to RB-3200 procedures, ‘HITEP_RCC-PIPE,’ which computerizes the design-by-rule (DBR) analysis for class 1 piping according to RB-3600 procedures and ‘HITEP_RCC-A16,’ which computerizes high-temperature defect assessment according to the A16 procedures. It is a web-based program, and thus can operate on a smartphone as well as on a personal computer once it is connected to the URL. The program has been verified with a number of relevant example problems on DBA, Pipe, and A16. It was shown from the verification works that HITEP_RCC-MRx with the three modules conducts a design evaluation and a defect assessment in an efficient and reliable way.

Well-designed experiments are likely to yield compelling evidence with efficient sample sizes. Bayes Factor Design Analysis (BFDA) is a recently developed methodology that allows researchers to balance the informativeness and efficiency of their experiment (Schönbrodt & Wagenmakers, 2017). With BFDA, researchers can control the rate of misleading evidence but, in addition, they can plan for a target strength of evidence. BFDA can be applied to fixed-N and sequential designs. In this tutorial paper, we provide a tutorial-style introduction to BFDA and generalize the method to informed prior distributions. We also present a user-friendly web-based BFDA application that allows researchers to conduct BFDAs with ease. Two practical examples highlight how researchers can use a BFDA to plan for informative and efficient research designs.

In the industrial world and with the progress of the times, technology will greatly help a small industry in managing beneficial information for consumers. Not all wood furniture industries have stores. However, the majority of shop owners in Pringsewu do not produce their own furniture. The owners who do not produce their own furniture receive merchandise from entrepreneurs who do not have shops. The owners provide furniture model orders needed by customers and users. In this case study, the data had been computerized so that consumers can receive information only by accessing the desired information. Furniture stores that build Web-Based Furniture Marketing Information Systems id to participate in providing data and information to people and can be accessed quickly, anywhere, and anytime.
