Vertically aligned WO3 nanosheet films are produced via a hydrothermal method. The WO3 nanosheet films exhibit significant optical modulation, fast switching speed, high coloration efficiency and excellent cycling performance. Outstanding electrocatalysis is also achieved by the films.
