We consider singular nonlinear Hadamard fractional boundary value problems. Using properties of Green’s function and a fixed point theorem, we show that the problem has positive solutions which blow up. Finally, some examples are provided to explain the applications of the results.

We are concerned with the following nonlinear three-point fractional boundary value problem:D0+αut+λatft,ut=0,0<t<1,u0=0, andu1=βuη, where1<α≤2,0<β<1,0<η<1,D0+αis the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative,at>0is continuous for0≤t≤1, andf≥0is continuous on0,1×0,∞. By using Krasnoesel'skii's fixed-point theorem and the corresponding Green function, we obtain some results for the existence of positive solutions. At the end of this paper, we give an example to illustrate our main results.

We study the existence of solutions for the boundary value problem-Δνy1(t)=f(y1(t+ν-1),y2(t+μ-1)),-Δμy2(t)=g(y1(t+ν-1),y2(t+μ-1)),y1(ν-2)=Δy1(ν+b)=0,y2(μ-2)=Δy2(μ+b)=0, where1<μ,ν≤2,f,g:R×R→Rare continuous functions,b∈N0. The existence of solutions to this problem is established by the Guo-Krasnosel'kii theorem and the Schauder fixed-point theorem, and some examples are given to illustrate the main results.

This work is devoted to the existence of positive solutions for a fractional boundary value problem with fractional integral deviating argument. The proofs of the main results are based on Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem and Avery and Peterson fixed point theorem. Two examples are given to illustrate the obtained results, ending the paper.

We consider the multi-point discrete boundary value problem with one-dimensionalp-Laplacian operatorΔ(ϕp(Δu(t−1))+q(t)f(t,u(t),Δu(t))=0,t∈{1,…,n−1}subject to the boundary conditions:u(0)=0,u(n)=∑i=1m−2aiu(ξi), whereϕp(s)=|s|p−2s,p>1,ξi∈{2,…,n−2}with1<ξ1<⋯<ξm−2<n−1andai∈(0,1),0<∑i=1m−2ai<1. Using a new fixed point theorem due to Avery and Peterson, we study the existence of at least three positive solutions to the above boundary value problem.

This paper is devoted to the existence of multiple positive solutions for fractional boundary value problemDC0+αu(t)=f(t,u(t),u′(t)),0<t<1,u(1)=u′(1)=u′′(0)=0, where2<α≤3is a real number,CD0+αis the Caputo fractional derivative, andf:[0,1]×[0,+∞)×R→[0,+∞)is continuous. Firstly, by constructing a special cone, applying Guo-Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem and Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem, some new existence criteria for fractional boundary value problem are established; secondly, by applying a new extension of Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem, a sufficient condition is obtained for the existence of multiple positive solutions to the considered boundary value problem from its auxiliary problem. Finally, as applications, some illustrative examples are presented to support the main results.

This paper mainly studies a class of mixed fractional boundary value problem with parameter and p-Laplacian operator. Based on the Guo-Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem, results on the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions for the fractional boundary value problem are established. An example is then presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.

Abstract In this paper, we consider the existence of multiple positive solutions for the 2𝑛th order 𝑚-point boundary value problem: where (0,1), 0 < ξ 1 < ξ 2 < ⋯ < ξ 𝑚–2 < 1. Using the Leggett–Williams fixed point theorem, we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three positive solutions to the above boundary value problem. The associated Green's function for the above problem is also given.

In this paper, by using double fixed point theorem and a new fixed point theorem, some sufficient conditions for the existence of at least two and at least three positive solutions of an nth-order boundary value problem with integral boundary conditions are established, respectively. We also give two examples to illustrate our main results.

The existence and uniqueness results of two fractional Hahn difference boundary value problems are studied. The first problem is a Riemann-Liouville fractional Hahn difference boundary value problem for fractional Hahn integrodifference equations. The second is a fractional Hahn integral boundary value problem for Caputo fractional Hahn difference equations. The Banach fixed-point theorem and the Schauder fixed-point theorem are used as tools to prove the existence and uniqueness of solution of the problems.
