Cloud computing has been widely accepted by the researchers for the web applications. During the past years, distributed computing replaced the centralized computing and finally turned towards the cloud computing. One can see lots of applications of cloud computing like online sale and purchase, social networking web pages, country wide virtual classes, digital libraries, sharing of pathological research labs, supercomputing and many more. Creating and allocating VMs to applications use virtualization concept. Resource allocates policies and load balancing polices play an important role in managing and allocating resources as per application request in a cloud computing environment. Cloud analyst is a GUI tool that simulates the cloud-computing environment. In the present work, the cloud servers are arranged through step network and a UML model for a minimization of energy consumption by processor, dynamic random access memory, hard disk, electrical components and mother board is developed. A well Unified Modeling Language is used for design of a class diagram. Response time and internet characteristics have been demonstrated and computed results are depicted in the form of tables and graphs using the cloud analyst simulation tool.

Abstract This paper focuses on the VM allocation policies for load balancing in cloud computing environment. Intermittent nature of balancing the load scheme into the cloud computing becomes a challenging job and it also affects the load balancing of the cloud. The suggested proposed model generates and step-up the VM allocation policies but also transforms the generated cloud workload. Furthermore, to improve the workload distribution of workload and stability of the overall cloud computing environment the load balancing algorithm is most important for load balancing. The work of load balancing is equally effective in the cloud computing environment and it is most essential one for load balancing algorithms to take care of all issues at the time of the work load. The researchers studied different algorithms to solve the problems of load balancing that generate problems during the distribution of workloads. The analysis VM allocation policies are tested on CloudSim environment and the results, and discussion is about to which one VM allocation policy is superior.

This paper introduces a file storage service that is implemented on a private/hybrid cloud computing environment. The entire system was implemented using open source software. The characteristic of elasticity is supported by virtualization technologies allowing to increase and to decrease the computing and storage resources based on their demand. An evaluation of performance and resource consumption was made using several levels of data availability and fault tolerance. The set of modules included in this storage environment can be taken as a reference guide for IT staff that wants to have some experience building a modest cloud storage infrastructure.

With the growth in demand for information processing, considering that cloud computing technology and virtual digital libraries have common goal. In this paper, take the cloud computing as the basis of virtual digital libraries, firstly, research the digital library virtualization under the circumstance of cloud computing; secondly, study digital books Museum of virtualized resources in a cloud computing environment integration and sharing mechanism; finally, creating digital library environment with cloud computing virtualization technology driven.
