A New Species

Odontofroggatia is a non-pollinating fig wasp genus associated with a narrow range of host species (Ficus microcarpa and F. prasinicarpa). A new species, Odontofroggatia quinifuniculus Feng & Huang sp. nov., is described from specimens reared from F. microcarpa in Hainan province, China. A key for distinguishing species is presented. The holotype is deposited in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The aphid genus Aulacophoroides Eastop and Hille Ris Lambers is reviewed. Aulacophoroides millettiae sp. nov. is described from Millettia sp. in Hong Kong, China. A key to the described species of Aulacophoroides is provided. The type specimens studied are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China and the Natural History Museum, London, U.K.

The aphid genus Euthoracaphis Takahashi is reviewed. Euthoracaphis oligostricha sp. nov. is described on Machilus yunnanensis from Yunnan, China. A new species, Colopalpus hibiscus sp. nov. (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) is described from Hibiscus in Hainan province, China. The ontogenetic changes in the idiosoma and leg chaetotaxy on adults (female and male) and immature stages of this new species are presented. A key to species of Colopalpus is also provided.

A checklist of the known Chinese species, distribution records, and an updated iden-tification key are provided. The genus Pachyodes Guenée, 1858 is reviewed, and two new species are described: P. novata, sp. nov., from South China and P. jianfengensis, sp. nov., from Hainan Province, China. The six previously known species are redescribed, and a lectotype is designated for P. pratti (Prout, 1927). Illustrations of adults and genitalia are presented. The holotype and paratypes of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.

A new species and a key to 10 species of the genus Lemba Huang, 1983, namely Lemba wushanensis sp. nov. is described in this paper from China. The new species is similar to L. sichuanensis Ma et al, 1994, but differs from the latter by the length of tegmen 2.7 times width in male, length of interspace of mesosternum 3.5 times width in male, posterior margin of epiproct straight; ancorae of epiphallus not inward tilt and vertical diameter 1.8 times subocular furrow in female. The type specimens are deposited in the Northwest Plateau Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xining, China.

Two new species of the genus Hybridolinus from China are described: H. baoxingensis Li & Zhou sp. n. from Sichuan and H. fengyangshanus Li & Zhou sp. n. from Zhejiang. The aedeagi as well as morphological details of Hybridolinus decipiens Schillhammer, 1998 and Hybridolinus smetanai Schillhammer, 2003 are illustrated. An updated identification key to species is provided and the zoogeographical pattern of species distribution is discussed. The types of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZ-CAS).
