The aedeagi as well as morphological details of Hybridolinus decipiens Schillhammer, 1998 and Hybridolinus smetanai Schillhammer, 2003 are illustrated. An updated identification key to species is provided and the zoogeographical pattern of species distribution is discussed. The types of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZ-CAS).

Abstract Systole irana sp. n. and S. dzintari sp. n. are described from Iran. Systole complanata Zerova is recorded from Iran for the first time. These three Systole species belong to the subgenus Systole (Systole). The species of this subgenus have trophic associations with plants of family Apiaceae. An identification key to species of Systole from Iran is given. Holotype and paratypes of new species are deposited in the collection of I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

The Brazilian species of Bittacus Latreille (Mecoptera: Bittacidae) are reviewed and one new synonym is proposed (Thyridates willmanni Collucci & Amorin syn. n. of Bittacus diversinervis Souza Lopes & Mangabeira). Three new species are herein described: Bittacus cruzi sp. n. from Amazonas, Presidente Figueiredo and Manaus, B. ferreirai sp. n. from Bahia, Aracatu and B. varzeanus sp. n. from Amazonas, Tefé, bringing the current number of Bittacus species in Brazil to 18. Illustrations, comments, and distribution maps of each species are presented. An identification key to the Brazilian genera of Mecoptera and Bittacus species is also presented.

Based on the materials deposited in the Marine Biological Museum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao, the present paper reports ten turrid species belonging to six genera of subfamilies Clavatulinae and Cochlespirinae, including two new species, i.e., Comitas parvifusiformis sp. nov. and Leucosyrinx mai sp. nov., and three species newly recorded from China seas, i.e., Makiyamaia coreanica (Adams and Reeve, 1850), Turricula sumatrana (Thiele, 1925) and Nihonia santosi Shuto, 1969. Comitas parvifusiformis sp. nov. was collected from South China Sea in the depth of 42-75 m, which differs from the similar species C. fusiformis (Hutton, 1877) by the stronger spiral sculpture; Leucosyrinx mai sp. nov. is a deep sea species, collected from Nansha Islands in the depth of 1241 m, which can be distinguished from the close species L. julia Thiele, 1925 by the spire whorls sharply carinated at the middle of each whorl.

The genus Pachyodes Guenée, 1858 is reviewed, and two new species are described: P. novata, sp. nov., from South China and P. jianfengensis, sp. nov., from Hainan Province, China. The six previously known species are redescribed, and a lectotype is designated for P. pratti (Prout, 1927). Illustrations of adults and genitalia are presented. The holotype and paratypes of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.

The taxonomy of the genus Clytra Laicharting, 1781 occurring in China is studied. Two new species are described: Clytra (Clytraria) tanae sp. nov. from Qinghai and Yunnan, and Clytra (Clytraria) truncatula sp. nov. from Xinjiang. The Chinese fauna of the genus is thus increased to 13 species/subspecies in total. Keys to the Chinese genera of Clytrini and to Chinese species of Clytra are provided in addition to color plates and line drawings of habitus, maxilla, labium, male genitalia and spermatheca, which facilitates species identification; geographic distributions of 12 species/subspecies are mapped. The type specimens are deposited in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.

Eighteen species of the galatheid genus Galathea Fabricius, 1793 from Chinese waters are reported in the present paper based on material in the collection of the Marine Biological Museum (MBM) in the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao (IOCAS), including two new species (G. babai n. sp., G. sinensis n. sp.) and eight species new to Chinese waters (G. anepipoda Baba, 1990, G. consobrina De Man, 1902, G. coralliophilus Baba & Oh, 1990, G. guttata Osawa, 2004, G. inconspicua Henderson, 1885, G. pilosa De Man, 1888, G. ternatensis De Man, 1902, and G. whiteleggii Grant & McCulloch, 1906). Galathea babai n. sp. can be distinguished from all the other congeneric species by the presence of a strong median protogastric spine. Galathea sinensis is distinguished from its nearest congener, G. multilineata, by having more numerous transverse striae on the carapace, the lateral margin of the carapace with only one instead of four spines behind the posterior cervical groove, the P1 fingers distally ending in incurved spines that cross when occluded (instead of being spooned), and a much shorter cheliped (especially the carpus length relative to breadth). To date, 26 species of Galathea Fabricius, 1793 have been recorded from Chinese waters, including the two new species.
