Two new species, Dichopelmus lotus n. sp. (Eriophyidae) and Trimeroptes kakius n. sp. (Diptilomiopidae) infesting persimmon, Diospyros kaki Linn. (Ebenaceae), are described and illustrated. We provide keys to the eriophyoid mites associated with Diospyros spp. in China, and to all species of Dichopelmus and Trimeroptes.

Two new species of the perlid genus Kamimuria Klapálek, K. shaanxinensis sp. nov. and K. yangxiana sp. nov. from Shaanxi Province of northwestern China are described in this paper. The similar characteristics of the new species and related taxa are discussed.

During a survey on Eriophyoid Mites in southwest of East Azerbaijan province (Iran), Aceria zygofabae n. sp. and Aceria alkannae n. sp. were found on Zygophyllum fabago L. (Zygophyllaceae) and Alkanna bracteosa Boiss. (Boraginaceae), respectively. They are described and illustrated here. Four further Aceria species were collected and identified as A. eucricotes (Nalepa, 1892), A. cynodonis Wilson, 1959, A. chenopodia Xue, Sadeghi & Hong, 2009 and A. tristriata (Nalepa, 1890) (protogyne and deutogyne). Aceria cynodonis is a new record for Iran Eriophyoid fauna whereas the other species were found for the first time in East Azerbaijan.

Two new species of eriophyoid mites (Acari: Trombidiformes: Eriophyoidea) were found on Zelkova carpinifolia (Ulmaceae) in Golestan Province, Iran. They are described as Tegolophus zelkofoliae sp. nov. and Rectalox dorsoenodis sp. nov. Both new species were vagrants on the leaf underside and no damage was observed on the infested plants. It is the first record of a species within the genus Rectalox from Iran.ts. It is the first record of a species within the genus Rectalox from Iran.

Two new species of eriophyoid mites inhabiting amaranthaceous plants in Egypt are described and illustrated. Aceria mosalahi sp. nov. heavily induces galls on leaves and stems of Chenopodiastrum murale (L.) S. Fuentes, Uotila & Borsch, while Aceria nudata sp. nov. induces red galls on the stems and leaves of Traganum nudatum Delile. Twenty-two Aceria species are known to inhabit plants of the Amaranthaceae family, and those inducing galls are listed here along with their diagnostic characteristic.

Eriophyoid mites infesting spurges (Euphorbiaceae) were surveyed in Kandovan and Govgan, southwest of East Azerbai-jan Province in Iran, during 2010 and 2011. Two new species are described and illustrated: Aculops seguieranae n. sp.from Euphorbia seguierana Necker and Euphorbia cheiradenia Boiss. et Hohen, and Aceria cheiradeniae n. sp. from E. cheiradenia. No damage symptoms were observed.

Two new species of eriophyoid mites viz., Cymeda indica sp. nov. on Cyclosorus dentatus. (Thelypteridaceae) and Neoacaphyllisa alangia sp. nov. on Alangium sp. (Cornaceae) are described here from Darjeeling district of West Bengal and Guwahati district of Assam, India respectively. The new species belong to the family Eriophyidae, subfamily Phyllocoptinae and tribe Acaricalini. They are the second members in the respective genera.

A new genus and five new species of eriophyoid mites associated with native palm trees (Arecaceae) are described from Brazilian Amazon. The new genus and two new species are in the family Eriophyidae: Euterpia fissa n. gen. & n. sp. from Euterpe precatoria and Notostrix spinula n. sp. from Mauritia flexuosa. Three new species belong to the family Phytoptidae: Palmiphytoptus barbosae n. sp. from Astrocaryum acaule; Propilus alternatus n. sp. from Mauritia flexuosa and Propilus tavaresi n. sp. from Elaeis oleifera.

Two new species of the stonefly genus Neoperla, N. jiangae sp. nov. and N. jiaoxihe sp. nov., are described from Shaanxi Province of northwest China. The new species are compared with related congeners. Neoperla flagellata Li & Murányi, 2012 (in Li et al. 2012b) is placed as a synonym of N. bicornua Wu, 1973. The Neoperla sinensis species subgroup in the N. montivaga group is proposed and defined.
