A new saperdine species belonging to a new genus, Tsounkranaglenea hefferni gen. et sp. nov., is described from Sabah, Malaysia. The new genus differs from other genera of the tribe Saperdini by the special male sternite VII modified into a rake-shape, with the apex of the ventral plate of the median lobe unusually emarginated.

Andeogryllus n. gen. including two new species from the inter-Andean slopes and valleys of the Magdalena and Cauca rivers of Colombia are described. This new genus is similar to Zebragryllus in their habitus, differed by not have white stripes on the body or antennae and by a modified pseudoepiphallic sclerite. The genus Atsigryllus (Atsigryllae group) is located in the subtribe Anurogryllina, highlighting the secondary reduction of the median lobe. An updated key is provided for the genera of the subtribe Anurogryllina and the species of the new genus.

AbstractCyclanthura, gen. n., is described to accommodate the following 15 new Neotropical species of Derelomini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Curculioninae): C. laticola, sp. n.; C. sphaerata, sp. n.; C. cordata, sp. n.; C. dentata, sp. n.; C. pilosa, sp. n.; C. capitulata, sp. n.; C. tenuicola, sp. n.; C. carinata, sp. n.; C. uncinata, sp. n.; C. oculata, sp. n.; C. cultrata, sp. n.; C. striata, sp. n.; C. bipartita, sp. n.; C. crepidula, sp. n.; and C. palmata, sp. n. The monophyly of Cyclanthura is indicated by the putatively synapomorphic elytral elevations and impressions, the posteriorly explanate female tergum VIII, and the posteriorly emarginate female tergum IX. These and various other characteristics - e.g.transformations in the apical region of the male median lobe - distinguish Cyclanthura from Phyllotrox Schönherr to which its species would have been assigned until now. Particular species of Cyclanthura are considered to pollinate and reproduce on the inflorescences of Araceae (Anthurium) and Cyclanthaceae (Asplundia, Carludovica, Sphaeradenia, and Cyclanthus). Several significant host plant transitions appear to have evolved within the genus. These patterns are discussed in the light of a phylogeny of the species of Cyclanthura which is based on an analysis of 22 taxa and 32 characters.

Literature about Mesitiinae Kieffer, 1914 has not been treated extensively from a taxonomic viewpoint in comparison with other subfamilies in Bethylidae Latreille, 1802. Our research on species of Metrionotus Móczár, 1970, Clytrovorus Nagy, 1972 and Sulcomesitius Móczár, 1970 revealed a new hypopygium shape pattern, namely a ‘star-shaped’ hypopygium, which is characteristic of a new genus, Astromesitius gen. nov., with two new species Astromesitius thionyi gen. et sp. nov. and Astromesitius olavoi gen. et sp. nov. The descriptions of both new species are based on male specimens collected in Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Astromesitius quatei (Móczár, 1977) gen. et comb. nov. is designated as type species for the new genus, which is erected for a total of seven species. The main diagnostic characteristics are the head longer than wide; a clypeus with a median lobe quadrate; an antenna with distinct long setae, with pedicel caliciform, and with flagellomeres long and caliciform; pronotum and anteromesoscutum with longitudinal sulcus indistinct or absent; metapectal-propodeal complex with posterior projection hardly distinct or absent; hypopygium star-shaped; genitalia with aedeagus slender and fusiform.

After our taxonomic revision of Ootheca Chevrolat, 1837, and the description of Oothecoides Kortenhaus & Wagner, 2011 and Ootibia Kortenhaus & Wagner, 2012, it became clear that a further four galerucine species, closely related to the above named taxa, form a distinct monophyletic group, that constitutes a new genus, Oosagitta gen. nov. with O. anningae sp. nov., O. geescheae sp. nov., O. melanopicta sp. nov. and O. thomasi sp. nov.. Exosoma angolensis Laboissière, 1939, the type species of the new genus, and Ergana minuta Laboissière, 1937 are newly transferred to Oosagitta gen. nov. All species of Oosagitta gen. nov. are characterized by a broad body and pronotum, a more or less convex dorsum and short legs, and as such are most similar to the other above named genera. The antennae of Oosagitta gen. nov. are distinctly longer than those of Ootheca, Oothecoides and Ootibia. Genital structures of the males allow a reliable identification of the genus. (Re-)descriptions are given for all species, including semi-schematic illustrations depicting the habitus outline, shape of the basal antennomeres and the median lobe. Photographs of the name-bearing types and distribution maps are provided.

<em>Nesaeoduvalius</em> (new genus) <em>vailatii</em> Casale &amp; Giachino, new species (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Trechini) is described and illustrated from the Euboia (Evvia) island (eastern Greece). The new taxon belongs to the <em>Duvalius</em> “isotopic” trechine lineage, but is markedly characterized by the peculiar combination of several morphological features in the general shape, chaetotaxy of head, serrate lateral margins of elytra, and features of male genitalia (both in median lobe of aedeagus and endophallus). Its putative position amongst the trechines of the <em>Duvalius</em> phyletic lineage is discussed. Data on the distribution and habitat of this new, insular and unexpected taxon are also provided.

Ceratophila new genus (Erotylidae: Pharaxonothinae) inhabiting male cones of the Mesoamerican cycad genus Ceratozamia Brongniart (Zamiaceae) is described for seven new species and compared to other genera of the Pharaxonothinae. Ceratophila differs from other genera of the Pharaxonothinae in many characters, most notable of which are: lateral pronotal carina thicker anteriorly in lateral view; head with supraocular and transverse occipital lines; elytra lacking a basal bead; and stridulatory files at base of head narrowly separated. Ceratophila has the male genitalia laterally compressed with a short median lobe and flagellum, similar to other Erotylidae. In comparison, the most superficially similar pharaxonothine genus Pharaxonotha Reitter has: lateral pronotal carina thin along entire length; head lacking supraocular lines, but with transverse occipital lines; elytra with distinct basal bead; stridulatory files at base of head widely separated; and unique male genitalia that are dorsoventrally flattened with a long median lobe and flagellum. Ceratophila contains two subgenera, which differ most notably in external characters and sexual dimorphism. Members of Ceratophila (Ceratophila), the nominal subgenus, have: more cylindrical bodies, pronotum evenly convex dorsally; the pronotum lacking basal longitudinal grooves on disc; metatibiae that are distinctly triangularly dilated toward apex; and no apparent external sexual dimorphism. In comparison, members of Ceratophila (Vovidesa) new subgenus have: dorsoventrally flattened bodies; the pronotum explanate (concave) along lateral margins; the pronotum with basal longitudinal grooves on disc; metatibiae weakly or not dilated toward apex; and with all tibiae in males showing strong sexual dimorphism. Four new species are described within the subgenus Ceratophila: C. (C.) chemnicki, C. (C.) gregoryi, C. (C.) picipennis, C. (C.) sanchezae; and three new species are described within the subgenus Vovidesa: C. (V.) chiapensis, C. (V.) mixeorum, C. (V.) vazquezi. Keys to genera, subgenera and species of known adults based on morphology are provided.

The new genus Neobruchidius is described principally because of the single spine near the apex of the hind femur of all ten species. This and other characters differentiate it from other genera in the New World and ally it to the Old World genus Bruchidius, hence the name. Seven of the ten species of Neobruchidius were all originally described in the genus Acanthoscelides by Johnson and one is the new species Neobruchidius lovie. The nine species are Neobruchidius barinas, N. canar, N. curimagua, N. guatemala, N. lituratus, (Sharp), N. macheta, N. tabidus (Erichson), N. tibiospinalis, and N. zacatlan. A discussion of the genus is provided as is a key to species, and some comments on allometry in adult bruchids due to seed size of their hosts. Neobruchidius lovie differs from species in the genus Sennius principally by lacking hinge sclerites in the median lobe of the male genitalia and with a mucro on the apex of the hind tibia that is much shorter than 0.25 times as long as the first hind tarsomere. Most species of Sennius lack a mucro or almost so.

Yaoshania, new genus, is described with Protomyzon pachychilus as type species. Yaoshania is distinguished from othergenera of Balitoridae by its larger gill opening, a lip lamina at angle of mouth, and the rostral fold with four notches toaccommodate rostral barbels. A lectotype is designated for Y. pachychilus. Erromyzon kalotaenia, new species, is de-scribed from Guangxi, China. It is distinguished from other species of Erromyzon by the very reduced median lobe of therostral fold; the lower lip distinctly covered with melanophores; and the color pattern on the flank. A key to the species of Erromyzon is provided.

A new genus and species of cave-dwelling leiodid beetles (Rozajella jovanvladimiri gen. n., sp. n.) has been diagnozed and described from the Pecina u Dubokom Potoku Cave, village of Donje Bisevo, near Rozaje, Eastern Montenegro. This new genus clearly differs from all other close genera in the following correlative traits: body size; shape of head; presence of occipital carina, length of antennae; morphometric ratios and form of certain antennomeres; head/pronotum width ratio; pronotum length/width ratio; form of lateral pronotal margins; pronotal/elytral base length ratio; form of femora and protarsi; presence of apical rows of spines on tibiae; form of elytra; existence of elytral shoulders; length of elytral setae; form of median lobe and its apex; form of inner sac; length of basal bulbus; form of parameres and their apices; distribution of parameral setae; and distribution in the Balkan Peninsula. Rozajella gen. n. belongs to a separate phyletic lineage (s?rie phyl?tique de "Leptodirus" - sensu Perre au 2000) which includes five other genera, Leptostagus Z. Karaman (from Macedonia), Petkovskiella Gu?orguiev (from Macedonia), Astagobius Reitter (from Slovenia and Croatia), Albanodirus Giachino & Vailati (from Albania), and Leptodirus Schmidt (from Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy). The new genus is present in Eastern Montenegro only. The Rozajella-Leptostagus-Petkovskiella-Astagobius-Albanodirus-Leptodirus complex is probably of early Tertiary age, its species having originated during the Alpine Orogeny, which affected vast areas of the Balkan Peninsula, including the Dinarids, otherwise their terra typica. .
