A new species of the genus Proctogastrolaelaps McGraw & Farrier (Acari: Melicharidae) from the Far East of Russia, and contributions to knowledge of this genus

We describe a new mite species from the Far East of Russia—Proctogastrolaelaps subsolanus Joharchi & Marchenko sp. nov. (Acari: Melicharidae). The new species was collected from soil-litter on the shores of the Tunaycha Lake and Sea of Okhotsk in Sakhalin Island. The important morphological characteristics of the genus Proctogastrolaelaps are revised.

Stygomomonia (S.) manchurica sp. n. (Acari: Hydrachnidia: Momoniidae) from the Kedrovaya River, Primory Territory of the Russian Far East is described. The affinity of the new species to its congeners is discussed with emphasis on biogeographical relationships. An annotated checklist of the subgenus Stygomomonia and geographical map of the distribution of Palaearctic species of this subgenus is compiled using published records.

Drymus (Drymus) hidakai sp. n. is described from the Far East of Russia. This is the species previously recorded as D. pilicornis Mulsant & Rey from the Far East of Russia, Japan and NE China.

It is reported about a new capture of mature mykiss on October 23, 2018 in the Langery River (Smirnykhovskiy district, north-eastern coast of Sakhalin) - beyond the native range in the Far East of Russia. Morphological characteristics of the captured individual are presented, its age class is determined as 5.0+. The species of the fish is confirmed genetically.

Victrix svetlanae sp. n. is described from Russian Far East, Khabarovsk Krai. The new species belongs to the subgenus Poliobrya Hampson, 1908. New species is most similar to V. umovii (Eversmann, 1846) and V. patula (Püngeler, 1907) but differs in both external and genital characteristics. This is the first record of the genus Victrix in the Far East.

Capnia khingana sp. n. (Plecoptera: Capniidae) is described as a new brachypterous species from the Lesser Khingan Range south of the Far East of Russia. Detailed descriptions and illustrations are provided for both sexes. According to the diagnostic characters of the male epiproct, C. khingana sp. n. may be tentatively assigned to the C. atra species group.
