We introduce the notion of weakly -contractive mappings in ordered partial metric spaces and prove some common fixed point theorems for such contractive mappings in the context of partially ordered partial metric spaces under certain conditions. We give some common fixed point results of integral type as an application of our main theorem. Also, we give an example and an application of integral equation to support the useability of our results.

We characterize both complete and 0-complete partial metric spaces in terms of weakly contractive mappings having a fixed point. Our results extend a well-known characterization of metric completeness due to Suzuki and Takahashi to the partial metric framework.

Matthews [12] introduced a new distance P on a nonempty set X, which he called a partial metric. The purpose of this paper is to present some fixed point results for weakly contractive type mappings in ordered partial metric space. An application to nonlinear fractional boundary value problem is also presented.

AbstractIn [18], Matthews introduced a new class of metric spaces, that is, the concept of partial metric spaces, or equivalently, weightable quasi-metrics, are investigated to generalize metric spaces (X, d), to develop and to introduce a new fixed point theory. In partial metric spaces, the self-distance for any point need not be equal to zero. In this paper, we study some results for single map satisfying (ψ,φ)-weakly contractive condition in partial metric spaces endowed with partial order. An example is given to support the useability of our results.

Recently, Samet et al. (2012) introduced the notion ofα-ψ-contractive mappings and established some fixed point results in the setting of complete metric spaces. In this paper, we introduce the notion of weakα-ψ-contractive mappings and give fixed point results for this class of mappings in the setting of partial metric spaces. Also, we deduce fixed point results in ordered partial metric spaces. Our results extend and generalize the results of Samet et al.

We establish new fixed point theorems in 0-complete ordered partial metric spaces. Also, we give remark on coupled generalized Banach contraction. Some examples illustrate the usability of our results. The theorems presented in this paper are generalizations and improvements of the several well known results in the literature.

Abstract In this paper, we consider F𝓡-generalized contractivity condition and utilized the same to establish some fixed point results for a self-mapping in partial metric spaces endowed with an amorphous binary relation. Our results generalize several core results of the existing literature. We also furnish some examples to exhibit the utility of our results. Finally, we further deduce fixed point result for cyclic contractions in partial metric spaces.
