A relatively low-cost personal-computer-based system is used to condition monitor a servo-valve-motor speed control system. Line pressures-flowrates together with motor torque-speed are monitored via 12 bit analogue to digital converters, and a set of performance characteristics are transformed into a mathematical model for the system in its run-in condition. Leakage flows are then introduced from each line, to simulate the onset of failure, and across the lines to simulate motor cross-port leakage deterioration. A graphics and software package is then developed and used to indicate which of the faults is occurring.

Switched Reluctance Motor has become one of hot topics of the international transmission for its simple structure, wide speed range and low cost, etc. In this thesis, based on TI's 32-bit DSP (TMS320F240) and following the principles of structure matching, high efficiency, easy to control, switched reluctance motor speed control system is designed using a minimum program of the main switching device. The parts of design include power converter, controller and software components.

The DC motor has good characteristics of large starting torque and good traction and strong overload capacity, traditional battery motor vehicle often adopts DC motor drives as driving system and uses the series resistance to adjust speed. However, in actual coal production, since motor vehicles are often placed in wet, explosive and dusty environment, the speed control system of motor vehicle has strict proof and moisture requirements, however, the inherent characteristics of the DC motor make it a serious shortcoming in the coal mine production, there is an urgent need to improve the structure to meet today's actual demand for coal mine automated production. This article is in this context, to compare the DC motor speed control system with AC speed control system of the mine car, discussing today's mainstream technical programs of AC speed control system, focus on the analysis of the great differences over performance and economic efficiency of the speed control system of mine motor vehicle after adopting AC speed control system.
