This paper presents the application of the cuckoo search (CS) algorithm in attempts to the minimization of the commutation torque ripple in the brushless DC motor (BLDC). The optimization algorithm was created based on the cuckoo’s reproductive behavior. The lumped-parameters mathematical model of the BLDC motor was developed. The values of self-inductances, mutual inductances, and back-electromotive force waveforms applied in the mathematical model were calculated by the use of the finite element method. The optimization algorithm was developed in Python 3.8. The CS algorithm was coupled with the static penalty function. During the optimization process, the shape of the voltage supplying the stator windings was determined to minimize the commutation torque ripple. Selected results of computer simulation are presented and discussed.

Abstract: Agriculture is the most important field for human beings. It is the backbone of our country's economic system. Equipment that needs less human effort and time with less price of implementation is way needed for fulfilment within the agricultural trade. Project work is focused on the seed sowing process and the design of a four-wheel-drive robot that does the work of seed sowing in plowed agricultural land avoiding the human effort by tracing the path and sowing seeds and tried to solve the problems related to agriculture. Seed sowing robot consists of battery-powered wheels, a DC motor inbuilt in these wheels, an Arduino Uno is useful for controlling the robotic activities. The Robot can detect the obstacle very easily with the help of an ultrasonic sensor. In every complete rotation of the rotating wheel, there’s a seed fall from the seed drum and performs seed sowingoperation. Keywords: Agriculture, Farmer, Seed, Robot

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to report on the global practical uniform h-stabilization for certain classes of nonlinear time-varying systems and its application in a separately excited DC motor circuit. Design/methodology/approach Based on Lyapunov theory, the practical h-stabilization result is derived to guarantee practical h-stability and applicated in a separately excited DC motor. Findings A controller is designed and added to the nonlinear time-varying system. The practical h-stability of the nonlinear control systems is guaranteed by applying the appropriate controller based on Lyapunov second method. Another effective controller is also designed for the global practical uniform h-stability on the separately excited DC motor with load. Numerical simulations are demonstrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller scheme. Originality/value The introduced approach is interesting for practical h-stabilization of nonlinear time-varying systems and its application in a separately excited DC motor. The original results generalize well-known fundamental result: practical exponential stabilization for nonlinear time-varying systems.

This research discusses about web based speed control of DC motor. This research is a development research. The development that is design and assemble a speed control of DC motor so that becomes function work well. The result of research is speed control of DC motor and monitoring value of voltage, current and rotation speed from DC motor. Speed control of DC motor using PWM on the NodeMCU while monitoring of voltage, current and rotation speed from DC motor using voltage sensor, current sensor, and inductive proximity sensor. The results show that the system is great working. On the readings of the voltage value using voltage sensor and multimeter digital, there is a difference value between 0,01 to 0,13 Volt. While for the readings of the current value using current sensor ACS712 and multimeter digital, there is a difference average 0,01 Ampere. Proximity sensors are used  by monitoring of the rotation speed of DC motor. The result is this sensor is working and function well. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengendalian kecepatan motor DC menggunakan web. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan yang dilakukan ialah merancang dan merakit sebuah web dan alat pengendali kecepatan motor DC sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan dan dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mengatur kecepatan motor DC serta monitoring nilai tegangan, nilai arus dan nilai kecepatan putaran pada motor DC. Pengendalian kecepatan motor DC dilakukan dengan mengatur PWM pada NodeMCU sedangkan monitoring tegangan, arus dan kecepatan putaran motor DC menggunakan sensor tegangan, sensor arus ACS712 dan sensor proximity induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem bekerja dengan baik. Pada pembacaan tegangan menggunakan sensor tegangan dan multimeter digital terdapat selisih antara 0,01 sampai 0,13 Volt. Sedangkan untuk pembacaan nilai arus menggunakan sensor arus ACS712 dengan multimeter digital, terdapat selesih rata-rata 0,01 Ampere. Sensor proximity digunakan sebagai monitoring kecepatan putaran pada motor DC. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sensor ini bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsinya.

This study focused on the development of a system based on evolutionary Algorithms to obtain the optimum parameters of the fuzzy controller to increase the convergence speed and accuracy of the controller. The aim of the study is to design fuzzy controller without expert’s knowledge by using evolutionary genetic algorithms and carry out on a DC motor. The design is based on optimization of rule bases of fuzzy controller. In the learning stage, the obtained rule base fitness values are measured by working the rule base on the controller. The learning stage is repeated the termination criteria. Abstract In the article, the authors describe, using the example of a selected class of technical means, their concept of replacing the “classical” linear management (exploitation) model with a circular economy (CE) model. An example of an object for which the authors plan to test the feasibility of the concept presented above is a household washing machine driven by a DC motor. The description of this object included in the article considers its complexity and multiplicity of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and elements. The DC electric motor driving the washing machine was considered the most important from the point of view of the created model, especially in terms of the possibility of maintenance and repair. For such an engine, the article presents the maintenance and disposal model as elements of the concept of building a ‘circular’ business model. The authors assumed that the formal basis for such a model would be the so-called circular model. The methodology and plan of the research carried out at Super Asia washing machine company in Pakistan were introduced, and the research results were shown. With the use of these results, an attempt was made to assess the requirements that the application of the CE business model places on manufacturers of a selected class of devices, both in their manufacture, repair, sharing and dematerialization. The concept of further research is described at the end of the article.
