This paper analyzed the reasons why different of calorific value between coal as received and coal as fired generate. The differences of calorific value between coal as received and coal as fired of seven power generation groups were compared. Evaluation cycle, evaluation indicators and evaluation methods of the calorific value difference were proposed. It was pointed out that the new evaluation criteria would contribute to energy saving and consumption reduction of power enterprises

This paper based on the idea of dynamic division of the load curve with the monotonicity of load curve and the PSO algorithm and gets the characteristics section. It fuses the sub-processes with the energy trajectory methods in order to describe the climbing peak and descending valley of the load curve closely, and characterizes the actual load curve. The multi-objective daily generation scheduling model is built based on the lowest cost of thermal power purchase of electricity and the lowest emissions of pollution gas. The optimal power flow based on combination of satisfaction degree and close degree are introduced to transform multi-objective into the single-objective optimization model. Decision makers can make interactive solution via adjusting goal satisfaction degree and close degree,so as to receive satisfactory results considering all aspects and make the daily generation scheduling based on energy-saving and environmental protection.

Thermal power industry promotes economic development in a high speed, and it also brings the problem of resources and the environment. Building the evaluation index system of the thermal power plants’ ability of energy saving and emission reduction, we made use of the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight. And the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was applied to a thermal power plant in Shandong Province. We obtain following conclusion: the primer factor which confines its ability of energy conservation and emission reduction is pollutant emission. On this basis, we put forward the specific implementation measures from fiscal policy, tax policy and monetary policy, aim is to accelerate the development of China’s energy saving and emission reduction.

As a major energy-saving industry, power industry has implemented energy-saving generation dispatching. Apart from security and economy, low carbon will be the most important target in power dispatch mechanisms. In this paper, considering a power system with many thermal power generators which use different petrochemical fuels (such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas) to produce electricity, respectively, we establish a self-scheduling model based on the forecasted locational marginal prices, particularly taking into accountCO2emission constraint,CO2emission cost, and unit heat value of fuels. Then, we propose a distributionally robust self-scheduling optimization model under uncertainty in both the distribution form and moments of the locational marginal prices, where the knowledge of the prices is solely derived from historical data. We prove that the proposed robust self-scheduling model can be solved to any precision in polynomial time. These arguments are confirmed in a practical example on the IEEE 30 bus test system.
