Agent-based source seeking problem is addressed in this paper. This problem is relevant in, e.g., in hazardous gas leak in a chemical disaster.  In the cooperative search, agents develop a formation to effectively search the source by communicating one to another via a communication topology. The source, or the search target, is represented by a scalar field y which might describe a temperature level, hazardous concentration of substances or vapor. Every agent has the information on its own position and the value of y at any instance. The agents are identical modeled as single and double integrator. Consensus filter is used to control the agent formation and comparison three types of gradient estimation are employed to search the source.  Experiments show that the proposed schemes give good performance to solve cooperative search for source seeking problem

In this paper, a multi agent system (MAS) is considered as particles of a continuum deforming under a specific class of homeomorphic mappings, called a homogenous transformation. We have recently showed how a desired homogenous mapping of the MAS in a n–D space can be prescribed by transient positions of n + 1 leaders placed at the vertices of a n–D polytope, called leading polytope [1–9]. In this article, we first minimize the acceleration norm with (i) initial and final positions of the leaders known and (ii) leaders (located at the vertices of the leading polytope) are constrained to move in such a way that the initial volume of the leading polytope is preserved during evolution. The followers learn the leader-determined homogenous map through local communication with each follower modeled as a double integrator. Proposed is a communication topology that requires every follower agent to update its position based on communication with n + 1 local agents. The weights of communication are uniquely specified by the initial positions of the agents. Simulation of a MAS moving in a plane validates the proposed communication topology.

Phishing is a malicious and deliberate act of sending counterfeit messages or mimicking a webpage. The goal is either to steal sensitive credentials like login information and credit card details or to install malware on a victim’s machine. Browser-based cyber threats have become one of the biggest concerns in networked architectures. The most prolific form of browser attack is tabnabbing which happens in inactive browser tabs. In a tabnabbing attack, a fake page disguises itself as a genuine page to steal data. This paper presents a multi agent based tabnabbing detection technique. The method detects heuristic changes in a webpage when a tabnabbing attack happens and give a warning to the user. Experimental results show that the method performs better when compared with state of the art tabnabbing detection techniques.
