In a panel made possible by a grant from USIA, discussion centered on the “Problems In African University Administration” in which more than ten participants from African universities examined some of the problems and solutions affecting the African higher education. The Annual Meeting of the Mathematical Association was held at King’s College, London, on 2nd and 3rd January, 1939. On Monday, 2nd January, the proceedings opened at 2.15 p.m. with the transaction of business, the President, Mr. W Hope-Jones, was in the chair.
The Report of the Council for 1938 was adopted.
