Abstract This article describes the morphology, morphometrics, and geographical distribution of the marine fish parasite Glugea caulleryi infecting marine fish of the family Ammodytidae (sand lances) in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of western Europe. This parasite can only be found in France and Spain.

Abstract This article describes the morphology, morphometrics, and geographical distribution of the marine fish parasite Glugea capverdensis infecting marine fish of the family Myctophidae (lanternfish) in the tropical east Atlantic Ocean with infections resulting in tumours up to 2 mm in diameter in ovaries, also subepithelial in the intestinal wall, or beneath the peritoneum visceral sheet and the mesentery. This parasite can only be found in Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean.
