Four new genera and one new species of the subfamily Tarsosteninae (Coleoptera: Cleridae) are described. Eight new taxa of Eriophyidae mites associated with native trees in the Cupania genus—C. oblongifolia Mart. and C. impressinervia Acev (Sapindaceae)—from the Atlantic Forest in Brazil, are described and illustrated. They include two new genera and two new species of Nothopodinae, Colopodacini (Setibia domatiagena   gen. nov., sp. nov. and Aricolopodos alagoensis gen. nov., sp. nov.), one new genus and two new species of Cecidophyinae, Colomerini (Euryslobos keronidos gen. nov., sp. nov. and Gammaphytoptus cupanius sp. nov.), and one new species of Phyllocoptinae, Tegonotini (Shevtchenkella caboata sp. nov.).

The aphid genus Allotrichosiphum is reviewed here. Allotrichosiphum cyclobalanopsidis sp. nov. from Cyclobalanopsis neglecta in Hong Kong, China is described. Keys to the species of Allotrichosiphum worldwide are provided. The type specimens studied are deposited in the Natural History Museum, London, U.K.

We present an annotated and illustrated catalogue of fifty type specimens of Afrotropical Tortricidae deposited in the insect collection of the Royal Museum for Central Africa. In addition to primary types, paratypes and/or paralectotypes are described and illustrated when available. Also, syntypes of the treated species deposited in other museums are listed and discussed. The taxonomic position of each species is reviewed. Three genera are described as new: Cornips Razowski, Nepheloploce Razowski, and Recaraceria Razowski. One new species, Cornips gravidspinatus Razowki, is described from the type series of Tortrix dryocausta Meyrick. Twenty-three new combinations and three new synonymies are proposed: Argyrotoxa praeconia Meyrick is transferred to Rubidograptis; Argyrotoxa canthararcha Meyrick to Accra; Homona cyanombra Meyrick, Homona myriosema Meyrick, and Catamacta manticopa Meyrick to Lozotaenia; Niphotixa dryocausta Meyrick and N. agelasta Bradley to Cornips; Tortrix enochlodes Meyrick and Tortrix scaeodoxa Meyrick to Clepsis; Catamacta imbriculata Meyrick and Capua pylora Meyrick to Epichoristodes; Homona hylaeana Meyrick to Meridemis; Argyroploce nephelopsycha Meyrick and Cydia euryteles Meyrick to Endothenia; Argyroploce nephelopyrga Meyrick to Nepheloploce; Polychrosis hendrickxi Ghesquière, Eucosma orphnogenes Meyrick and Eucosma regionalis Meyrick to Sycacantha; Argyroploce carceraria Meyrick and Olethreutes hormoterma Meyrick to Recaraceria; Laspeyresia mixographa Meyrick to Eucosmocydia; Laspeyresia gypsothicta Meyrick to Grapholita. Three new genera and 11 new species from New Guinea are described in the tribe Monophlebulini. Erropera, gen, nov., contains four new species: E. ablusa, E. papuensis, E, pilosa and E. sedlaceki; Modicicoccus, gen. nov., contains four new species: M. gagnei, M. kaindiensis, M. monticolus and M. rtewsteadi; and Peengea, gen. nov., contains one new species: P. affinis. Two new species of Mottophlehirlus Cockerell, M. enarotalicus and M. gressitti, are described. The adult females of all 11 new species and the first instar nymphs of E. sedlaceki and P. affinis are described. A marsupium associated with the genital opening of the adult female is reported for the first time in the tribe Monophlebulini.

Microcentrini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 is within the subfamily Phaneropterinae and currently comprises 11 genera and 81 species with Neotropical distribution. In this paper, five new genera are described: Boroseiyla gen. nov. (type species Boroseiyla tupeba sp. nov.), Caauara gen. nov. (type species Caauara pinima sp. nov.), Capiguara gen. nov. (type species Capiguara trimaculata sp. nov.), Hyalipenna gen. nov. (type species Hyalipenna tetralineata sp. nov.) and Tuaia gen. nov. (type species Tuaia panacarica sp. nov.) covering a total of seventeen new species registered for the Amazon rainforest. Moreover, Microcentrum nigrolineatum is included in Boroseiyla gen. nov. (Boroseiyla nigrolineatus comb. nov.). Keys to the species of the described genera, maps and observations of natural history are provided.

Based on material collected in Cameroon, Africa in 1913–18 and deposited in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, USA, three new genera and 10 new species of Lecithocerinae (Lecithoderidae) are described and illustrated. The new genera are Paniculata gen. nov., Furcalis gen. nov., and Notioseus gen. nov. The new species are Homaloxestis rawlinsi sp. nov., Lecithocera afrotella sp. nov., L. dysmica sp. nov., L. cyclisca sp. nov., Paniculata weberi sp. nov., Notioseus cupripennis sp. nov., N. acidodes sp. nov., Furcalis efulenica sp. nov., F. triodonta sp. nov., and Lacuniola noda sp. nov. Adults and their labels, and the genitalia of all the species treated herein are illustrated.

(subfamily Rhabditinae) is characterized by the presence of a flap-like, deciduous, cuticular operculum covering the vulva which is well posterior.Praeputirhabditisn.g. (subfamily Rhabditinae) is unique in possessing prepuce-like loose cuticle through which the tail can be protruded.Saprorhabditisn.g. (sub-family Protorhabditinae) has neither a glottoid apparatus nor a median oesophageal bulb but possesses an oesophageal collar. The genusMatthesonemais transferred to the subfamily Rhabditinae.Rhabditis(Rhabditella)octopleurais being recorded for the first time from India.

Following the itemization of the described Madagascan Coraebini (Buprestidae: Agrilinae) (Bellamy 2001a), additional new genera and species of this large fauna have been described (Bellamy 2001b, 2003, 2006). After a preliminary study of the perceived ant-mimicking species I have accumulated in loans from, and during previous visits to, the vast collection of this fauna held by the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, a new monotypic myrmecomorphic genus and species is described. All other putative ant-mimicking species amongst previously described and currently available specimens belong to the genus Entomogaster Saunders, 1871. The new genus is described now for the one new species found to not be congeneric with Entomogaster. In deference to the classification for the tribe Coraebini Bedel, 1921 presented by Kubáň, et al. (2001), the genus-group taxon described herein is provisionally placed in the subtribe Toxoscelina Majer, in Kubáň, et al., 2001.
