TThis case report concerns a 70-year woman with a complaint of abnormal vaginal bleeding and foul smelling vaginal discharge of a short duration. Speculum examination revealed a huge polyp occupying the cervix and extending further downwards. On operation, it turned out to be an endometrial polyp arising from the fundus. Histologically the polyp showed classical features of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma; confirmed immunochemically.

Embolic metastases to the endometrium are unusual, especially from extragenital cancers. Metastases in the uterine corpus are generally detected at autospy. We describe a patient with abnormal vaginal bleeding in whom endometrial metastases from an inoperable gastric tumor were discovered in hysteroscopic biopsy specimens.

Chronic inversion of uterus is a rare clinical entity which is usually associated with obstetrics complication and rarely with gynaecological disorder like fibroid present at fundus of uterus. We here present a case of 40-year-old female P3L3 with chronic inversion of uterus with fundal fibroid which present with 3year history of abnormal vaginal bleeding. Ultrasonography and MRI revealed cervical fibroid. Due to AUB secondary to cervical fibroid decision of hysterectomy was taken. On laparotomy chronic uterine inversion was present which was corrected by haultain’s procedure. Then hysterectomy was done. Histopathology report suggestive of uterine leiomyoma at fundus of uterus. Chronic uterine inversion associated most commonly with fundal submucous leiomyoma. Other causes are leiomyosarcoma, endometrial carcinoma, cervical carcinoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, mixed mullerian sarcoma. It is an extremely rare gynaecological condition and can be misdiagnosed as cervical fibroid, advanced cervical malignancy or other causes of AUB in females. It could be labelled as gynaecological near miss so a high index of suspicion is necessary for it’s diagnosis.

ABSTRCT Uterine adenosarcoma is a rare variant of mixed Mullerian tumors comprised of neoplastic glands with the benign appearance and sarcomatous stroma. The epithelium most often consists of endometrium- like cells, while the sarcomatous component usually shows low-grade homologous uterine sarcoma. These tumors present as a pelvic mass or an enlarged uterus with abnormal vaginal bleeding. Here, we present a case of 61 years old postmenopausal female patient with chief complaints of excessive vaginal bleeding and urine retention.

In this study 100 biopsies were taken from the endometrium of childbearing women (18-50 yrs. of age) suffering from abnormal vaginal bleeding from Jan 2019-Dec 2019. Endometrial Biopsy (EB) is safe, an outpatient procedure, low cost, carries out without general anesthesia & the incidence of hemorrhage, infection & uterine perforation are less common than with D&C. EB is an alternative to dilatation & curette (D&C) for the evaluation of infertile & abnormal vaginal bleeding or dysmenorrheic patients. There are two main groups of causes to irregular vaginal bleeding. 1. Organic disease (74% of the cases), in this group there are obvious lesion such as, endometrial polyp, endometrial hyperplasia & chronic endometritis. The most common cause was endometrial hyperplasia 48%, it is commonly seen during the perimenopausal period (40-50yr). Less common causes include chronic endometritis 8%, hydatidiform mole 7%, and endometrial polyp 7%. 2. non-organic disease comprises 19% of all cases, anovulatory period 13% or Luteal phase insufficiency 6%. They are commonly seen from age of 18-40yrs. 6% of the cases found to have normal endometrium. 5 endometrial biopsies were inadequate & unsatisfactory for histopathological interpretation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the usefulness & disadvantages of EB & to compare it with the traditional method of endometrial curette.

Background. Anorectal malformations (ARMs) are extremely rare and are usually identified neonatally. It is unusual for these cases to present in the postmenopausal period. This case report describes a postmenopausal patient with ARM and rectovaginal hemorrhage.Case. An 86-year-old, gravida 11, para 9, presented to the emergency department complaining of profuse postmenopausal vaginal bleeding. Her gynecologic history was significant only for an unclear history of an anal abnormality that was noted at birth. Speculum examination revealed profuse rectal bleeding from a rectovestibular fistula exterior to her hymenal ring. Colonoscopic examination revealed severe diverticular disease.Conclusion. This patient was born with an imperforate anus which resolved as rectovestibular fistula and ectopic anus. This case presents a rare clinical circumstance which integrates the fields of obstetrics, gynecology, gastroenterology, and embryology alike.
