Abstract Approximately 11% from of Finland’s carbon dioxide emissions traffic emissions comes from private cars. Half of the rides ranging from 1 to 3 km are driven by car. At the same time the health of working adults is at risk due to the lack of exercise. Millions of people commute every day. Workplaces have a significant role to play in making people move healthier and more sustainable ways.
