Optical solitons with ber Bragg gratings and polynomial law of nonlinear refractive index are addressed in the paper. The auxiliary equation approach together with an addendum to Kudryashov's method identify soliton solutions to the model. Singular periodic solutions emerge from these integration schemes as a byproduct. Keywords: solitons; cubic-quartic; Bragg gratings.

This paper retrieves soliton solutions to fiber Bragg ratings with dispersive reflectivity where cubic–quartic dispersive effects are considered as opposed to the usual chromatic dispersion. The auxiliary equation approach and an addendum to Kudryashov’s scheme display a complete spectrum of soliton forms to the model that is studied with Kerr effect.

Abstract The optical solitons in Bragg gratings fibers for perturbed NLSE having cubic-quartic dispersive reflectivity with parabolic-nonlocal combo law of refractive index are studied. The extended auxiliary equation method and the addendum to Kudryashov's method are introduced. The existence criteria for such solitons are indicated.

Abstract The current work handles for the first time, dispersive optical solitons in fiber Bragg gratings for the nonlinear (2+1)-dimensional Kundu-Mukherjee-Naskar equation. Two integration schemes, namely, the modified Kudryashov's approach and the addendum to Kudryashov's methodology are applied. Dark, bright and singular soliton solutions are obtained. Also, combo bright-singular soliton solutions are introduced.

This paper considers the non-linear Kudryashov's equation, that is an extension of the well-known dual-power law of refractive index and is analog to the generalized version of anti-cubic non-linearity. The model is considered in the presence of full non-linearity. The main objective of this paper is to extract soliton solutions of the proposed model. Three state-of-the-art integration schemes, namely modified auxiliary equation method, the sine-Gordon expansion method and the tanhcoth expansion method have been employed for obtaining the desired soliton solutions.
