Abstract. Canning fish is a processed fish product that has gone through a processing stage, packaged in cans and given heat to ripen fish and other fillings and kill spoilage microbes. During the fish canning process there is product damage caused by several factors such as the production process that is not in accordance with the procedures, poor machinery and equipment, and unsupportive environmental conditions. One of the main causes of damage to fish canning products is cans damage which results in products being contaminated with microbes so that the contents of the cans will experience changes in color, taste and odor. Product damage needs to be minimized by carrying out quality control. Product quality is the most important aspect for companies to survive in the midst of competition between companies. One of the efforts that can be used to maintain product quality is the Statistical Quality Control method. This method can be used to analyze, manage and improve non-standard processes using a statistical approach. SQC has the ability to describe process abnormalities, see the pattern of increasing/decreasing processes in the process, so that corrective action can be taken and even preventive action before the problem actually occurs. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of fish canning products from the level of product damage using the Statistical Quality Control method and to determine the causes of damage to fish canning products. The study was conducted using the Statistical Quality Control method with the stages of making a check sheet, histogram, control chart, and finally making a causal diagram to determine the cause of product damage. Based on the results of the analysis of calculations using the control chart for 26 days of observation, it is known that there is still damage that is outside the upper control limit which indicates a deviation and based on the analysis of the causal diagram of the factors that cause deviations, namely machines, materials, methods, humans and the environment. Pengalengan ikan merupakan produk olahan ikan yang telah melalui tahap pemrosesan, dikemas dalam kaleng dan diberi panas untuk mematangkan ikan dan isian lainnya serta membunuh mikroba pembusuk. Pada saat proses pengalengan ikan terdapat kerusakan produk yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti proses produksi yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur, mesin dan peralatan yang kurang baik, serta kondisi lingkungan yang tidak mendukung. Salah satu penyebab kerusakan produk pengalengan ikan yang utama yaitu kerusakan kaleng yang mengakibatkan produk terkontaminasi dengan mikroba sehingga isi kaleng akan mengalami peruabahan warna, rasa dan bau yang tidak sedap. Kerusakan produk perlu diminimalisir dengan melakukan pengendalian kualitas. Kualitas produk merupakan aspek terpenting bagi perusahaan agar tetap bertahan di tengah persaingan antar perusahaan.  Salah satu upaya yang dapat digunakan untuk menjaga kualitas produk yaitu dengan metode Statistical Quality Control. Metode ini dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis, mengelola dan memperbaiki proses-proses yang tidak sesuai standar dengan menggunakan pendekatan statistika. SQC mempunyai kemampuan menggambarkan ketidaknormalan proses, melihat pola kecenderungan peningkatan/ penurunan proses, sehingga bisa diambil tindakan perbaikan bahkan tindakan pencegahan sebelum masalah tersebut benar-benar terjadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kualitas produk pengalengan ikan dari tingkat kerusakan produk dengan metode Statistical Quality Control serta untuk mengetahui penyebab dari kerusakan produk pengalengan ikan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Statistical Quality Control dengan tahapan pembuatan check sheet, histogram, peta kendali, dan terakhir pembuatan diagram sebab akibat untuk mengetahui penyebab kerusakan produk. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dari perhitungan menggunakan peta kendali p selama 26 hari pengamatan, diketahui masih terdapat kerusakan yang berada diluar batas kendali atas yang menunjukkan adanya penyimpangan dan berdasarkan dari analisa diagram sebab akibat faktor yang menyebabkan penyimpangan yaitu mesin, material, metode, manusia dan lingkungan.   Kata Kunci: Diagram Sebab Akibat, Kerusakan Produk, Penyimpangan, Peta Kendali

Due to previous exposure of items in adaptive testing, items may become known to a substantial portion of examinees. A disclosed item is bound to show drift in the item parameter values. In this paper it is suggested to use a statistical quality control method for the detection of known items. The method is worked out in detail for the 1-PL and 3-PL models. Adaptive test data are used to re-estimate the item parameters, and these estimates are used in a test of parameter drift. The method is illustrated in a number of simulation studies, including a power study.

<p><span lang="EN-US">Fire is one of the most serious hazards for forests on earth. Despite each kind of technological development and equipment, fire activity has an increasing trend because of especially climate change and socio-economic reasons. Although fire extinguishing organizations, today, try to suppress this increasing risk with a maximum effort, the big fires in some places cause the enormous areas to get burned.  The fires as big as natural disasters cannot be extinguished most of the time in spite of any efforts or methods when the extreme fire weather conditions come together with inflammable matters and ignition sources. </span></p><p><span lang="EN-US">In this study, the number and area of forest fires in Turkey were investigated through statistical quality control method. Despite the decreasing trend of forest fires in terms of area size, the possibility of large fires always exists in the whole Mediterranean Region due to the socio-economic conditions such as increasing human population, migration and any changes that could affect fire activity in climate conditions. As a result of the study, it is seen that there is an overall increase in the number of fires while the burned area decreases. Out-of-control behaviors in control graphs are not in a continuous trend but sometimes exceed the control limits. This condition is seen to be positive as a trend but also points to the possibility of unexpected annual burned area and the number of fires.</span><strong></strong></p>

Berdasarkan dari data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) diketahui bahwa volume produksi susu dari seluruh perusahaan di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa adanya peningkatan akan permintaan susu dari konsumen. Dengan adanya hal tersebut, maka perusahaan saling bersaing untuk menghasilkan produk susu dengan spesifikasi komposisi nutrisi yang sangat beragam dan semakin komplek dengan tujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen, termasuk pada salah satu UKM produsen susu yang terletak di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah salah satu kandungan nutrisi susu, yaitu kadar lemak pada susu, masih berada dalam batas spesifikasi produk dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan kandungan kadar lemak tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi. Data yang digunakan merupakan data dari kandungan kadar lemak susu yang diperoleh setelah melakukan pengujian kualitas kandungan kadar lemak dengan menggunakan 5 sampel setiap harinya dari 32 pos penampungan susu selama 30 hari. Berdasarkan hasil dari peta kendali variabel yaitu peta kendali rata-rata (x) diketahui masih terdapat data yang berada di luar batas kendali, sedangkan dari hasil peta kendali jarak (r) semua data berada di dalam batas kendali. Dari hasil tersebut dilakukan revisi terhadap kedua peta agar semua data dapat masuk di dalam batas kendali. Tahap selanjutnya dilakukan analisis akar penyebab masalah berdasarkan hasil brainstorming dengan pemilik usaha dan digambarkan menggunakan fishbone diagram. Faktor-faktor yang ditinjau meliputi manusia, bahan baku, metode, dan lingkungan. Tahap terakhir dilakukan perumusan usulan perbaikan yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi jumlah susu dengan kandungan kadar lemak yang tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi, sehingga juga dapat membantu keberlanjutan (sustainability) usaha

Aiming at the problem of less quality characteristics data in multi-specification and small-batch production, matter-element theory was applied to adjust similarity of factors affecting the quality during the processing, thus similar processes was divided and data shortage problem was resolved. In addition, the relative range method was applied to translate characteristics data, thus drawing the control chart to judge process control state.Through the analysis of a case,the validity of quality control method was verified in the multi-specification and small-batch production.

This article describes the current quality control method during hot coating process. To improve the current quality control method during hot coating process, this article also elaborates the advanced coated product quality control system based on process analytical technology (PAT), the concept of which is “Quality by Design”, the targets of which are to enhance process stability and to improve the technological and economic index.
