Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik, bangun ruang SMP DEVELOPING SPACE LEARNING KIT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WITH REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION APPROACH AbstractThis research aimed to produce space learning kits with realistic mathematics education approach in Junior High School which valid, practical, and effective viewed from achievement of basic competence, mathematical connection ability, and mathematics interest. This research was development research used 4-D model that consisted of four phases: defining, designing, developing, and  disseminating. This research produced space learning kit that consisted of syllabus, lesson plans, students’ worksheets, and assessment tests that included test of basic competence achievement and mathematical connection test which valid, practical, and effective. The validity of learning kit get very good category from expert assessment. The practicallity of learning kit get very good category from teachers assessment, students assessment, and observation of learning implementation. The aspect of effectiveness was seen from achievement minimum 80% of the student pass the minimum score for achievement of basic competence and mathematical connection skill, and more than 80% of student have mathematics interest in least good category. Keywords: development, learning kit, realistic mathematics education, space

This research aims to look at the difference in the ability of mathematical creative thinking in students, through Realistic Mathematical Education learning or RME and through conventional learning. The research design used was an experiment, namely in the form of a test of the ability of creative thinking. The population in this study of Junior High School students throughout the country, namely in West Bandung Regency. Sample research VIII grade i.e. in one of the Junior High School in West Bandung chosen at random and selected class A (grade experiment) that uses learning Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and class B (grade control) that uses regular or conventional learning. The research results showed that the p-value of 0.000 < critical limits. Thus, the ability of mathematical creative thinking of the students who got the learning with Realistic Mathematics Education better than the students who got conventional learning.

This research aims to develop a mathematics instructional model based realistic mathematics education (RME) to promote students' problem-solving abilities. The design research used Plomp models, which consists of preliminary phase, development or proto-typing phase and assessment phase.  At this study, only the first two phases conducted. The first phase, a preliminary investigation, carried out with a literature study to examine the theory-based instructional learning RME model, characteristics of learners, learning management descriptions by junior high school mathematics teacher and relevant research. The development phase is done by developing a draft model (an early prototype model) that consists of the syntax, the social system, the principle of reaction, support systems, and the impact and effects of instructional support. Early prototype model contain a draft model, lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments. Tesssmer formative evaluation model used to revise the model. In this study only phase of one to one evaluation conducted. In the ppreliminary phase has produced a theory-based learning RME model, a description of the characteristics of learners in grade VIII Junior High School Padang and the description of teacher teaching in the classroom. The result showed that most students were still not be able to solve the non-routine problem. Teachers did not optimally facilitate students to develop problem-solving skills of students. It was recommended that the model can be applied in the classroom.

Pleriminary research showed there were problems in arithmetic mean learning at junior high school grade IX . Students were more likely to be introduced by the use of formulas without involving the discovery of the concept itself and separate from the learning experience of students everyday. This research aimed to developing instructional design of mean topics arithmetic mean with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, for junior high school grade IX. This research that was combined Plomp and model Gravemeijer & Cobb develompment models, which consisted of three phases, there were the preliminary research (preparing for the experiment), a development phase ( prototyping phase/ design experiment) and the assessment phase (retrospective analysis). The subjects were students of grade IX MTsN Salido. This research develops an instructional design of the topic arithmetic mean using realisticmathematics education (RME) approach. The results of the experiment showed contexts teaching contained in the student books can stimulate students to develop their knowledge in finding statistical concepts. The whole strategy (emergent modeling) were found and discussed students, showing how the construction or the contribution of students in discovering the concept of arithmetics mean from the formal to the informal level. The results showed that the design of the learning topic arithmetic mean with RME approach is valid, practical and effective. Valid in terms of content and language. Practical in terms of practice, the ease and time required. Effective in terms of its potential impact on student’s mathematical reasoning abilities. Keywords: Instructional Design, arithmetic mean, RME, Learning Trajectory, Design Research

Instructional materials are one of the essential parts to support the learning process becomes more exciting and meaningful. However, teachers do not yet give more attention to these parts, so that the learning process becomes uninteresting and boring. Therefore, this research aims to produce the instructional materials for the logical thinking of mathematics ability based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education for junior high school students for Grade 8, which is valid and practical. This research used a design research method with the type of development study conducted in two stages, namely preliminary design and formative evaluation, including self-evaluation, prototyping (expert reviews, one-to-one, and small groups) field tests the research conducted at junior high school. For research subjects, students of class VIII B of junior high school are 29 students. The techniques of data collection used are documentation, walkthrough, interviews, and test. The research data are quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. The results of data analysis known that this research produces the logical thinking of mathematics for instructional materials based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education on the content of linear equations of two variables that are valid, practical, and have potential effects. In this case, mathematics instructional materials in students' worksheets based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education have been content valid, constructive, and language from expert validation at the expert review stage. In contrast, the mathematics student worksheets based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education have been practically obtained from revisions results of one-to-one and small group. Furthermore, the prototype of instructional materials in the form of student worksheets has potential effects to improve the logical thinking of mathematics ability for students.
