The researches were carried out in ООО “Rossyia” of the Mozhginsky district of the Udmurt Republic. The object of the research was the sows of the main herd of a Large White pig breed. The reproductive qualities of the sows were studied according to such indicators as: the multiple births, the milkness, the mass of a nest in 2 months. The study of reproductive qualities was carried out using breeding cards of the sows and a book for registering farrowing and offspring of the pigs. The evaluation of the reproductive qualities of sows was carried out by calculating the indicators of a variational statistics: the arithmetic mean, the mean quadrate deviation, the coefficients of the variation, the heritability, the correlation. The indicator of a variational statistics was calculated according to the method of N.A. Plokhinsky. The reliability of the coefficients of the heritability and the correlation was determined using Student's t-test. Then studying the reproductive qualities of the sows of the main herd it was established that the multiple births in the average was 10.61 heads, the milkness — 51.34 kg, and the mass of a nest in 2 months — 156.72 kg. Hereat the coefficient of the variability on the multiple births was 12.95%, on the milkness — 8.41%, and on the mass of a nest in 2 months — 10.02%. The coefficient of heritability on the multiple births was 15.00%, on the milkness — 20.00%, and on the mass of a nest in 2 months — 25.00% (P > 0.999). The coefficients of the correlation between the multiple births and the milkness and the multiple births and the mass of a nest in 2 months, respectively, were r = +0.769 and r = + 0.474, and the coefficient of the correlation between the milkness and the mass of a nest in 2 months — r = + 0.754 under the probability of the infallible prognoses P > 0.999.

Abstract Background: Expansion of maternal health service coverage is crucial for the survival and wellbeing of both mother and child. To date, limited literature exists on the measurement of maternal health service coverage at the sub-national level in India. The prime objectives of the study were to comprehensively measure the maternal health service coverage by generating a composite index; map India by categorizing it into low, medium and high zones and examine its incremental changes over time. Methods: Utilising a nationally representative time series data of 15 key indicators spread across three domains of antenatal care, intranatal care and postnatal care, we constructed a novel ‘Maternal Health Service Coverage Index’ (MHSI) for 29 states and 5 union territories of India for the base (2017-18) and reference (2019-20) years. Following a rigorous procedure, MHSI scores were generated using both arithmetic mean and geometric mean approach. We categorized India into low, medium and high maternal health coverage zones and further generated geospatial maps to examine the extent and transition of maternal health service coverage from base to reference year.Results: India registered the highest mean percentage coverage (93.66%) for ‘institutional delivery’ and lowest for ‘treatment for obstetric complications’ (9.25%) among all the indicators. Depending on the usage of arithmetic mean and geometric mean approach, the maternal health service coverage index score for India exhibited marginal incremental change (between 0.015- 0.02 index points) in the reference year. West zone exhibited an upward transition in the coverage of maternal health service indicators, while none of the zones recorded a downward movement. States of Mizoram (east zone), Puducherry (south zone) showed a downward transition. Union territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli (west zone) and Chandigarh (north zone) along with the states of Maharashtra (west zone), Assam, as well as Jharkhand (both from the east & north east zone), showed upward transition.Conclusion: Overall, maternal health service coverage is increasing across India. Our study offers a novel summary measure to comprehensively quantify the coverage of maternal health service, which can momentously help India to identify lagged indicators and low performing regions, thereby warranting the targeted interventions and concentrated programmatic efforts to bolster the maternal health service coverage at the sub-national level.

This study aimed to investigate the arithmetic mean of surgically induced astigmatism (M-SIA) and the centroid of surgically induced astigmatism (C-SIA) after standard trabeculectomy. We comprised 185 eyes of 143 consecutive patients (mean age ± standard deviation, 67.7 ± 11.6 years) who underwent trabeculectomy and completed at least a 3-month routine follow-up. In all cases, the scleral flap was made at the nasal-superior location. Corneal astigmatism was measured with an automated keratometer. We calculated the M-SIA and the C-SIA using vector analysis and applied the astigmatism double angle plot. The magnitude of corneal astigmatism increased significantly, from 1.17 ± 0.92 D preoperatively to 1.77 ± 1.05 D postoperatively (paired t-test, p < 0.001). The M-SIA was 1.12 ± 0.55 D, and the C-SIA was 0.73 D @64° ± 1.02 D in the right eye group, and the M-SIA was 1.08 ± 0.48 D and the C-SIA was 0.60 D @117° ± 1.03 D in the left eye group. The C-SIA showed an astigmatic shift toward the nasal-superior location of the scleral flap creation. Our results revealed that trabeculectomy induced the SIA in the direction of the scleral flap location and that the C-SIA was much lower than the M-SIA in eyes undergoing trabeculectomy.

This study aims to investigate intelligibility levels of Thai EFL learners, relationship between intelligibility and learners’ variables, and relationship between intelligibility and comprehensibility scores toward varieties of English. Seventy-five students were recruited as a sample group through stratified random sampling technique. Seven research instruments were used in the study, including a quick placement test, a questionnaire, an intelligibility test, an accent familiarity judgment report, a comprehensibility test, an attitudinal test, and four speech samples produced by speakers of 4 different nationalities. Data were quantitatively analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficients. The findings revealed that Thai EFL learners received high scores in their intelligibility tests for all speech samples. Thai speaker was rated as the most intelligible to the learners, while American speaker was rated as the least intelligible one. Correlations between intelligibility and other learners’ variables were found only in accent familiarity, language proficiency, and attitude. A significant correlation was also found between intelligibility and comprehensibility scores towards varieties of English of Thai EFL learners.

This study aimed to show the obstacles that prevent the employment of science and mathematics teachers in employing future skills in basic education schools. A sample of (157) male and female teachers, and (51) supervisors. The results of the study revealed that the degree of obstacles faced by science and mathematics teachers in employing future skills in basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman. From the point of view of teachers and educational supervisors, it came to a large extent with an arithmetic mean (3,64). The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the average degree of obstacles due to job variables, while the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between The average degree of obstacles is due to the variable of specialization in favor of mathematics teachers. The researchers recommended the necessity of urging teachers to apply modern teaching strategies and assessment activities that focus on future skills, and to reduce administrative burdens on teachers.

From the cave to today's residence, in addition to the need for shelter in every place, nutrition has been another important need. While the nutritional needs were met, the concept of the hearth was formed with the discovery of fire and the emergence of the act of cooking. The hearth, which continues to exist in different forms in shelters; It has also had an important place in Turkish culture over time. The cultural sustainability of the concept of the hearth, which can still exist today under different names and places, is a matter of debate. The aim of the study is to examine the spatial and structural changes of the concept of hearth and its cultural sustainability. In this context, a literature review on the use of the concept of hearth in four different periods has been made and its position in the space has been examined. In addition, online and face-to-face surveys were conducted with age groups in three different generations (X, Y and Z generations) in order to evaluate the cultural sustainability of the concept of hearth. The questionnaire form was prepared on a Likert type scale, and the data at the end of the questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. While evaluating the data, frequency, percentile distribution and arithmetic mean were used. As a result of the examinations, the change of the concept of the hearth in the Turkish shelters was tried to be revealed, and inferences were made about the cultural sustainability of the hearth. In this paper, we obtained several new integral inequalities using fractional Riemann-Liouville integrals for convex s-Godunova-Levin functions in the second sense and for quasi-convex functions. The results were gained by applying the double Hermite-Hadamard inequality, the classical Holder inequalities, the power mean, and weighted Holder inequalities. In particular, the application of the results for several special computing facilities is given. Some applications to special means for arbitrary real numbers: arithmetic mean, logarithmic mean, and generalized log-mean, are provided.

This study aimed to identify the role of school principals in increasing student interaction with educational platform in light of corona pandemic from teachers' perspectives, the study used the descriptive analysis approach, a questionnaire was development consisted from (31) paragraph, the sample of study consisted from (650) male and female teachers. However, the findings of study showed that the role of school principals in increasing student interaction with educational platform in light of Corona pandemic from the teachers’ point of view came to a medium degree and with an arithmetic mean (3.66), and the arithmetic averages ranged between (1.75-4.60), and there weren’t any significant differences in the degree in the role of school principals in increasing student interaction with educational platform in light of Corona pandemic from teachers' perspectives refer to variable of teacher's sex (male| female). Furthermore, there were significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) according to teacher qualification for higher education. Therefore, a set of recommendations was set one of the most importance was the necessity of holding training courses for school principals on the concept of educational platforms and benefit from them.

The recently proposed basic uncertain information can directly present numerical uncertainties for given real values, but it cannot handle given interval values which themselves also have uncertainties. Against this background, this work proposes the concept of interval basic uncertain information which serves as a generalization of basic uncertain information and involves two types of uncertainties. We analyze some basic operations, weighted arithmetic mean and preference transformation for interval basic uncertain information. The Rule-based decisions and the comprehensive certainty of interval basic uncertain information are also discussed. An illustrative example of multi-source multi-criteria evaluation under interval basic uncertain information environment is presented.
