In this paper, first, we introduce the class of [Formula: see text]-Meir–Keeler contractive mappings and establish some fixed point results. Next, we introduce the notion of partial modular metric space and establish some fixed point results in this new spaces. As consequences of these results, we deduce some fixed point theorems in modular metric spaces endowed with a graph and in partially ordered metric spaces. Some examples are furnished to demonstrate the validity of the obtained results.

The notion of modular metric spaces being a natural generalization of classical modulars over linear spaces like Lebesgue, Orlicz, Musielak-Orlicz, Lorentz, Orlicz-Lorentz, and Calderon-Lozanovskii spaces was recently introduced. In this paper we investigate the existence of fixed points of generalizedα-admissible modular contractive mappings in modular metric spaces. As applications, we derive some new fixed point theorems in partially ordered modular metric spaces, Suzuki type fixed point theorems in modular metric spaces and new fixed point theorems for integral contractions. In last section, we develop an important relation between fuzzy metric and modular metric and deduce certain new fixed point results in triangular fuzzy metric spaces. Moreover, some examples are provided here to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.

This paper extends and generalizes results of Mukheimer [(?,?,?)-contractive mappings in ordered partial b-metric spaces, J. Nonlinear Sci. Appl. 7(2014), 168-179]. A new concept of (?-?1-?2)-contractive mapping using two altering distance functions in ordered b-metric-like space is introduced and basic fixed point results have been studied. Useful examples are illustrated to justify the applicability and effectiveness of the results presented herein. As an application, the existence of solution of fourth-order two-point boundary value problems is discussed and rationalized by a numerical example.

Samet et. al. (Nonlinear Anal. 75, 2012, 2154-2165) introduced the concept of alpha-psi-contractive type mappings in metric spaces. In 2013, Alghamdi et. al. [2] introduced the concept of G-β--contractive type mappings in G-metric spaces. Our aim is to introduce new concept of generalized G-η-χ-contractive pair of mappings. Further, we study some fixed point theorems for such mappings in complete G-metric spaces. As an application, we further establish common fixed point theorems for G-metric spaces for cyclic contractive mappings.

Abstract We study the existence of fixed points for contraction multivalued mappings in modular metric spaces endowed with a graph. The notion of a modular metric on an arbitrary set and the corresponding modular spaces, generalizing classical modulars over linear spaces like Orlicz spaces, were recently introduced. This paper can be seen as a generalization of Nadler and Edelstein’s fixed point theorems to modular metric spaces endowed with a graph.

The purpose of this paper is to find out fixed point results for the family of multivalued mappings fulfilling a generalized rational type F-contractive conditions on a closed ball in complete dislocated b-metric space. An application to the system of integral equations is presented to show the novelty of our results. Our results extend several comparable results in the existing literature.

Recently, George et al. (in Georgea, R.; Radenovicb, S.; Reshmac, K.P.; Shuklad, S. Rectangular b-metric space and contraction principles. J. Nonlinear Sci. Appl. 2015, 8, 1005–1013) furnished the notion of rectangular b-metric pace (RBMS) by taking the place of the binary sum of triangular inequality in the definition of a b-metric space ternary sum and proved some results for Banach and Kannan contractions in such space. In this paper, we achieved fixed-point results for a pair of F-dominated mappings fulfilling a generalized rational F-dominated contractive condition in the better framework of complete rectangular b-metric spaces complete rectangular b-metric spaces. Some new fixed-point results with graphic contractions for a pair of graph-dominated mappings on rectangular b-metric space have been obtained. Some examples are given to illustrate our conclusions. New results in ordered spaces, partial b-metric space, dislocated metric space, dislocated b-metric space, partial metric space, b-metric space, rectangular metric spaces, and metric space can be obtained as corollaries of our results.
