The matter of integrating digital technologies in education particularly during massive transition to distance learning is more urgent than ever before. Upgrading of teachers’ education and skills in the areas of online course, online course production and its incorporation in the educational programs are the key priorities for higher education system. The article presents Far Eastern Federal University experience in developing online course «English grammar for beginners». It describes the relevance of the course production, aim and objectives, grammar topics and learners’ language level. The phases of work and basic steps, online course structure, assignments types, the content of lecture videos are fully depicted in the paper. The article closes with authors’ recommendations on working at the online course production within the educational process in the universities.
