Abstract Atlas Steels 3003 is a non-heat-treatable, aluminum-manganese-copper alloy. It is one of the most commonly used aluminum alloys. It is selected for applications where good formability, very good resistance to corrosion, or good weldability, or all three, are required, and where more strength is desired than is provided by unalloyed aluminum. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-477. Producer or source: Atlas Steels.
