COPPER ALLOY No. C69000
Abstract Copper Alloy No. C69000 is a copper-zinc-aluminum-nickel alloy with a good combination of strength and ductility. Its capacity is excellent for hot work or cold work. It has fairly good resistance to general corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking; its corrosion resistance is superior to that of Copper Alloy No. C26000 (Cartridge brass or 70-30 brass). Among its many uses are wiring devices, springs and switches. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-502. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
