In this research, the structure parameters, conducting and dielectric properties of Na3Fe2(PO4)3 and Na2FePO4F polycrystals were studied obtained by solid-phase synthesis. The phase transition temperatures, conducting and dielectric parameters of Na3Fe2(PO4)3 and Na2FePO4F polycrystals were refined. A comparative evaluation of the conductive properties of Na3Fe2(PO4)3 and Na2FePO4F polycrystals is given in this article. The prospects of using of Na3Fe2(PO4)3 and Na2FePO4F are justified as electrode materials in sodium ion batteries.

AbstractThe heat capacity and dielectric properties of microcrystalline and nanostructured SmFeO_3 ceramics obtained by solid phase synthesis are studied. The ceramics is synthesized by the treatment of the batch at room temperature in Bridgman anvils by forceful action combined with shear deformation followed by sintering. It is established that the mechanoactivation results in noticeable broadening antiferromagnetic–ferroelectric transition and shifting the temperature of phase transition in the low-temperature area. The phase transition having typical for relaxation oscillator frequency dependent character is found at 558 K. It is shown that the defect structure can take a dominant place in the formation of the physical properties of ceramics.

Abstract In this work, titanate Cs2Fe2Ti6O16 with a hollandite-type structure was synthesized by solid-phase synthesis. The electrical conductivity of the obtained ceramics was investigated in the temperature range from 25 to 800 °C in air and in the presence of an argon-hydrogen mixture (3% H2). It was found that the electrical conductivity of the compound under consideration depends on the composition of the atmosphere — the activation energy of conduction changes (0.57 eV in air and 0.91 eV in the presence of hydrogen). The volumetric and grain-boundary contributions to the total resistance of the sample in the gases under consideration are separated by impedance spectroscopy at a temperature of 800 °C.
