Chryptography or Chriptology plays an important role in building data and information security. Chryptography aims to not read unauthorized people, so information can be safely maintained. Some research about Chryptography and algorithms related to data security have been done by practitioner of informatics and mathematic, one of which is DES algorithms and wavelet transform. DES algorithm is symmetrical standart algorithm which is widely used and is still considered safe to answer th challenges of the rapid development of information technology. This paper have discussed about application of Algebra in DES algorithms and discrete Wavelet Transform On Digital Image Security Application, i.e. XOR operation, permutation, and  permutation group or siklik group which is used in DES algorithms on digital image security application. Then, as Group it found (x+b)-group  in discrete wavelet transform on digital image security application

The rapid development of image editing software has resulted in widespread unauthorized duplication of original images. This has given rise to the need to develop robust image hashing technique which can easily identify duplicate copies of the original images apart from differentiating it from different images. In this paper, we have proposed an image hashing technique based on discrete wavelet transform and Hough transform, which is robust to large number of image processing attacks including shifting and shearing. The input image is initially pre-processed to remove any kind of minor effects. Discrete wavelet transform is then applied to the pre-processed image to produce different wavelet coefficients from which different edges are detected by using a canny edge detector. Hough transform is finally applied to the edge-detected image to generate an image hash which is used for image identification. Different experiments were conducted to show that the proposed hashing technique has better robustness and discrimination performance as compared to the state-of-the-art techniques. Normalized average mean value difference is also calculated to show the performance of the proposed technique towards various image processing attacks. The proposed copy detection scheme can perform copy detection over large databases and can be considered to be a prototype for developing online real-time copy detection system.

Watermarking is a method to hide the image efficiently into any covering object (image in our case) so no intruder can interpret it by any means. Proposed work is a new design of image watermarking which include pre-processing of cover image with Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Proposed work using an alphanumeric key which initially modifies the watermark using simple ‘XOR’ operation, and at the receiver end this key must be there so that receiver can extract the watermark.  Proposed work is also using torus Automorphism which initially changes the watermark into a scramble format which cannot be recognised as original watermark.

Encryption of a digital image is very important especially in applications of body area networks (BANs) since the image may include a number of privacy. Past encryption methods have disadvantages of the small key space and low ability of resistance to attack. In this paper, we propose a new encryption algorithm based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and multichaos which has characteristics of the deterministic, pseudorandomness, and sensitivity of initial values. The image is first decomposed and spatial reconstructed by two-dimensional DWT and then is performed by multichaos matrices for space encryption. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm has a large key space, high key sensitivity, and excellent ability of resistance to attack.

With the rapid development of the network and the multimedia technical , how to protect the security of the multimedia informations becomes the popular topic on studies. As a new technique used to protect the copyright of digital productions , the digital watermark technique has drawn extensive attention . A digital watermarking algorithm based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT) was presented according to human visual properties in the paper . Then some attack analyses were given. Experimental results show that the watermarking scheme proposed in this paper is invisible and robust to cropping, and also has good robustness to compression, filtering, and noise adding.

Using SWT (Stationary Wavelet Change) & SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transformation) we attempted to increase the number of features recognized & matched with digital image for forgery identification. Digital image received preferable match for forged area. We collected the forgery area using SIFT& SURF for identification of forgery. We used DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) w.r.t. SIFT & SW to subdue absence of translation invariance..
