A tripled fixed point theorems in ordered metric spaces is used in order to prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a class of integral equations. The conditions of the theorem are much weaker than those existing in literature and the theorem is useful for solving some general problems. An example to illustrate our theoretical results is also given.

In this paper, we have established and proved fixed point theorems for the Boyd-Wong-type contraction in metric spaces. In particular, we have generalized the existing results for a pair of mappings that possess a fixed point but not continuous at the fixed point. We can apply this result for both continuous and discontinuous mappings. We have concluded our results by providing an illustrative example for each case and an application to the existence and uniqueness of a solution of nonlinear Volterra integral equations.

The objective of this paper is to present a new notion of a tripled fixed point (TFP) findings by virtue of a control function in the framework of fuzzy cone metric spaces (FCM-spaces). This function is a continuous one-to-one self-map that is subsequentially convergent (SC) in FCM-spaces. Moreover, by using the triangular property of a FCM, some unique TFP results are shown under modified contractive-type conditions. Additionally, two examples are discussed to uplift our work. Ultimately, to examine and support the theoretical results, the existence and uniqueness solution to a system of Volterra integral equations (VIEs) are obtained.

In this paper, we prove tripledcoincidence and common fixed point theorems for $F: X\times X\times X\to X$ and $g:X\to X$ satisfying almost generalized contractions in partially ordered metric spaces. The presented results generalize the theorem of Berinde and Borcut Tripled fixed point theorems for contractive type mappings in partially ordered metric spaces, Nonlinear Anal 74(15) (2011)4889--4897. Also, some examples are presented.

In this manuscript, the concept of a cyclic tripled type fuzzy cone contraction mapping in the setting of fuzzy cone metric spaces is introduced. Also, some theoretical results concerned with tripled fixed points are given without a mixed monotone property in the mentioned space. Moreover, under this concept, some strong tripled fixed point results are obtained. Ultimately, to support the theoretical results non-trivial examples are listed and the existence of a unique solution to a system of integral equations is presented as an application.

In the current manuscript, the notion of a cone b 2 -metric space over Banach’s algebra with parameter b ≻ ¯ e is introduced. Furthermore, using α -admissible Hardy-Rogers’ contractive conditions, we have proven fixed-point theorems for self-mappings, which generalize and strengthen many of the conclusions in existing literature. In order to verify our key result, a nontrivial example is given, and as an application, we proved a theorem that shows the existence of a solution of an infinite system of integral equations.

Berinde and Borcut (2011), introduced the concept of tripled fixed point for single mappings in partially ordered metric spaces. Samet and Vetro (2011) established some coupled fixed point theorems for multivalued nonlinear contraction mappings in partially ordered metric spaces. In this paper, we obtain existence of tripled fixed point of multivalued nonlinear contraction mappings in the framework of partially ordered metric spaces. Also, we give an example.

In this article, common fixed-point theorems for self-mappings under different types of generalized contractions in the context of the cone b 2 -metric space over the Banach algebra are discussed. The existence results obtained strengthen the ones mentioned previously in the literature. An example and an application to the infinite system of integral equations are also presented to validate the main results.

AbstractIn this paper we introduce a property and use this property to prove some common fixed point theorems in b-metric space. We also give some fixed point results on b-metric spaces endowed with an arbitrary binary relation which can be regarded as consequences of our main results. As applications, we applying our result to prove the existence of a common solution for the following system of integral equations: $$\matrix {x (t) = \int \limits_a^b {{K_1}} (t, r, x(r))dr, & & x(t) = \int \limits_a^b {{K_2}}(t, r, x(r))dr,} $$where a, b ∈ ℝ with a < b, x ∈ C[a, b] (the set of continuous real functions defined on [a, b] ⊆ ℝ) and K1, K2 : [a, b] × [a, b] × ℝ → ℝ are given mappings. Finally, an example is also given in order to illustrate the effectiveness of such result.

In this paper we present a new extension of tripled fixed point theorems in metric spaces endowed with a reflexive binary relation that is not necessarily neither transitive nor antisymmetric. The key feature in this tripled fixed point theorems is that the contractivity condition on the nonlinear map is only assumed to hold on elements that are comparable in the binary relation. Next on the basis of the tripled fixed point theorems, we prove the existence and uniqueness of positive definite solutions of a nonlinear matrix equation of type

We consider the concept of -distance on a complete, partially ordered -metric space and prove some fixed point theorems. Then, we present some applications in integral equations of our obtained results.
