The nonlocal boundary value problem, dtρu(t)+Au(t)=f(t) (0<ρ<1, 0<t≤T), u(ξ)=αu(0)+φ (α is a constant and 0<ξ≤T), in an arbitrary separable Hilbert space H with the strongly positive selfadjoint operator A, is considered. The operator dt on the left hand side of the equation expresses either the Caputo derivative or the Riemann–Liouville derivative; naturally, in the case of the Riemann–Liouville derivatives, the nonlocal boundary condition should be slightly changed. Existence and uniqueness theorems for solutions of the problems under consideration are proved. The influence of the constant α on the existence of a solution to problems is investigated. Inequalities of coercivity type are obtained and it is shown that these inequalities differ depending on the considered type of fractional derivatives. The inverse problems of determining the right-hand side of the equation and the function φ in the boundary conditions are investigated.

<p>In this article, the concept of a Hausdorff fuzzy $ b $-metric space is introduced. The new notion is used to establish some fixed point results for multivalued mappings in $ G $-complete fuzzy $ b $-metric spaces satisfying a suitable requirement of contractiveness. An illustrative example is formulated to support the results. Eventually, an application for the existence of a solution for an integral inclusion is established which involves showing the materiality of the obtained results. These results are more general and some theorems proved by of Shehzad et al. are their special cases.</p>

Abstract We consider the $\mathbb {T}^{4}$ cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS), which is energy-critical. We study the unconditional uniqueness of solutions to the NLS via the cubic Gross–Pitaevskii hierarchy, an uncommon method for NLS analysis which is being explored [24, 35] and does not require the existence of a solution in Strichartz-type spaces. We prove U-V multilinear estimates to replace the previously used Sobolev multilinear estimates. To incorporate the weaker estimates, we work out new combinatorics from scratch and compute, for the first time, the time integration limits, in the recombined Duhamel–Born expansion. The new combinatorics and the U-V estimates then seamlessly conclude the $H^{1}$ unconditional uniqueness for the NLS under the infinite-hierarchy framework. This work establishes a unified scheme to prove $H^{1}$ uniqueness for the $ \mathbb {R}^{3}/\mathbb {R}^{4}/\mathbb {T}^{3}/\mathbb {T}^{4}$ energy-critical Gross–Pitaevskii hierarchies and thus the corresponding NLS.

Iterative algorithms have been utilized for the computation of approximate solutions of stationary and evolutionary problems associated with differential equations. The aim of this article is to introduce concepts of monotone Reich and Chatterjea nonexpansive mappings on partially ordered Banach spaces. We describe sufficient conditions for the existence of an approximate fixed-point sequence (AFPS) and prove certain fixed-point results using the Krasnoselskii–Ishikawa iterative algorithm. Moreover, we present some interesting examples to highlight the superiority of our results. Lastly, we provide both weak and strong convergence results for such mappings and consider an application of our results to prove the existence of a solution to an initial value problem.

В настоящей работе доказывается единственность и существование решения задачи Коши для интегро-дифференциального уравнения, связанного с перидинамической моделью механики твёрдого тела с двумя пространственными переменными. In this paper the uniqueness and existence of a solution of Cauchy problem for an integro-differential equation associated with a peridynamic model of solid mechanics in a two-dimensional domain are proved.

In this paper, we consider a generalized mixed variational-like inequality problem and prove a Minty-type lemma for its related auxiliary problems in a real Banach space. We prove the existence of a solution of these auxiliary problems and also prove some properties for the solution set of generalized mixed variational-like inequality problem. Furthermore, we introduce and study an inertial hybrid iterative method for solving the generalized mixed variational-like inequality problem involving Bregman relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space. We study the strong convergence for the proposed algorithm. Finally, we list some consequences and computational examples to emphasize the efficiency and relevancy of the main result.

The article proves that the state of a bilinear control system can be split uniquely into generalized modes corresponding to the eigenvalues of the dynamics matrix. It is also shown that the Gramians of controllability and observability of a bilinear system can be divided into parts (sub-Gramians) that characterize the measure of these generalized modes and their interactions. Furthermore, the properties of sub-Gramians were investigated in relation to modal controllability and observability. We also propose an algorithm for computing the Gramians and sub-Gramians based on the element-wise computation of the solution matrix. Based on the proposed algorithm, a novel criterion for the existence of solutions to the generalized Lyapunov equation is proposed, which allows, in some cases, to expand the domain of guaranteed existence of a solution of bilinear equations. Examples are provided that illustrate the application and practical use of the considered spectral decompositions.

Surface electromagnetic waves (Dyakonov waves) propagating along a plane interface between an isotropic substance with a constant dielectric constant and an anisotropic crystal, whose dielectric tensor has a symmetry axis directed along the interface, are considered. It is well known that the question of the existence of such surface waves is reduced to the question of the existence of a solution to a certain system of algebraic equations and inequalities. In the present work, this system is investigated in the Sage computer algebra system. The built-in technique of exceptional ideals in Sage made it possible to describe the solution of a system of algebraic equations parametrically using a single parameter, with all the original quantities expressed in terms of this parameter using radicals. The remaining inequalities were only partially investigated analytically. For a complete study of the solvability of the system of equations and inequalities, a symbolic-numerical algorithm is proposed and implemented in Sage, and the results of computer experiments are presented. Based on these results, conclusions were drawn that require further theoretical substantiation.

The boundary value problem for the steady Navier–Stokes system is considered in a 2D bounded domain with the boundary having a power cusp singularity at the point O. The case of a boundary value with a nonzero flow rate is studied. In this case there is a source/sink in O and the solution necessarily has an infinite Dirichlet integral. The formal asymptotic expansion of the solution near the singular point is constructed and the existence of a solution having this asymptotic decomposition is proved.
