The article describes two new species: Roepkiella jakli sp. nov. (type locality: Indonesia, Sangir Isl., Tahuna Distr., Bukit Bembalut Hill) and R. korshunovi sp. nov. (type locality: Thailand, Khon Kaen Prov., Phu Wiang Wat). The diagnostic features are given, the male genitalia of R. celebensis (Roepke, 1957) are described for the first time.

The genera Abaria Mosely 1948 and Drepanocentron Schmid 1982 are recorded in China for the first time. In this study, two new species, Abaria herringbona sp. nov., from Guang-xi, and Drepanocentron fuxiensis sp. nov., from An-hui, are described and illustrated. Male genitalia of these two new species is distinguishable from those of other Abaria and Drepanocentron species. In addition, Melanotrichia attia Malicky & Chantaramongkol 1992 is a new record for the Chinese caddisfly fauna.

Two new species of the genus Hamodes Guenée, 1852, H. pseudobutleri sp. nov. and H. hainana sp. nov. are described from Southern China. Compared with the already known species H. butleri, the new species have a wider submarginal line on forewing and medial line on hindwing respectively; and in male genitalia, H. pseudobutleri sp. nov. has a shorter and curved saccular process, while H. hainana sp. nov. has a stouter saccular process. In addition, H. pendleburyi Prout, 1932 is recorded in mainland China for the first time. Adults and their genitalia are illustrated.

Two new species of the genus Agrisius Walker, 1855, A. orhanti Volynkin, Dubatolov & Kishida, sp. n. and A. leloii Volynkin, Dubatolov & Kishida, sp. n. are described from South Laos and Vietnam respectively. A. orhanti sp. n. belongs to the A. japonicus Leech, 1889 species-group. Whereas, the male genitalia structure of A. leloii sp. n. is intermediate between those of the A. japonicus and the A. guttivitta Walker, 1855 species-groups, therefore, it is assigned to a separated species-group (the A. leloii species-group). Agrisius dubatolovi Orhant, 2012 is downgraded as a subspecies of A. japonicus: Agrisius japonicus dubatolovi Orhant, 2012, stat. nov. Female genitalia of species of the A. japonicus and most of the A. guttivitta species-groups are illustrated for the first time.

The validity of Genolopa Linton, 1910 has been controversial because the observation of presently recognized critical diagnostic morphological features (spines in the genital atrium and a bipartite, anteriorly spined terminal organ) were omitted from the original diagnosis, and these features were not universally appreciated as important diagnostic features until 2008. Modern taxonomists have been further challenged by inappropriate fixation techniques that have resulted in various interpretations of morphological features. Consequently, named species in the genus have fluctuated among other monorchiid genera depending on various interpretations by taxonomists, and a modern consensus on classifying these species is lacking. This study combines a molecular approach with modern conventional morphological techniques to investigate the validity of Genolopa as a lineage within the Monorchiidae. New morphology and molecular sequence data from the type-species of Genolopa were studied, and two new species in the genus were described, Genolopa vesca n. sp. and Genolopa minuscula n. sp. Interrelationships among the Monorchiidae were explored using Bayesian inference analysis of the partial 28S rDNA fragment, incorporating three species of Genolopa for the first time. The phylogenetic analysis revealed that the genus represents a natural lineage, supporting the presence of spines in the genital atrium in conjunction with a bipartite and anteriorly spined terminal organ as key features of the generic diagnosis. This study also provides for the first time partial 28S rDNA data for Postmonorchis orthopristis, Lasiotocus trachinoti, Lasiotocus glebulentus, and an unidentified species of Lasiotocus.

Two new species of Phylini, Glaucopterum alborubrum sp. nov. and Compsidolon schrenkianum sp. nov. are described from Xinjiang province of China. Illustrations of the male genitalia, tarsus and pretarsus, photographs of the dorsal habitus, known hosts, and distributional records are provided for each species. The following 13 species of Miridae are recorded for the first time from China: Anonychiella brevicornis (Reuter, 1879), Atomophora mongolica Konstantinov, 2000, Blepharidopterus angulatus (Fallén, 1807), Compsidolon eximium (Reuter, 1879), Dichrooscytus consobrinus Horváth, 1904, Dichrooscytus kerzhneri Josifov, 1974, Hallodapus montandoni Reuter, 1895, Orthotylus nassatus (Fabricius, 1787), Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) schoberiae Reuter, 1876, Phaeochiton ebulum Putshkov, 1977, Pilophorus confusus (Kirschbaum, 1856), Tuponia (Chlorotuponia) prasina (Fieber, 1864), Tuponia (Tuponia) soongorica Drapolyuk, 1980. Also, the following nine species of plant bugs are new records for Xinjiang Province: Atomoscelis onusta (Fieber, 1861), Blepharidopterus diaphanus (Kirschbaum, 1856), Campylomma verbasci (Meyer-Dür, 1843), Europiella alpina (Reuter, 1875), Lygocoris rugicollis (Fallén, 1807), Orthops mutans (Stål, 1858), Phaeochiton caraganae (Kerzhner, 1964), Pilophorus clavatus (Linnaeus, 1767), Psallopsis kirgisica (Becker, 1864). Distributional areas and distinctive features of Tuponia roseipennis (Reuter, 1878) and T. soongorica Drapolyuk, 1980 are briefly discussed.

The subgenus Okubasca Dworakowska of the genus Empoasca Walsh (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae: Empoascini) is recorded for the first time from China, and revised with two new species described and illustrated from southern China: E. (O.) dianella Qin & Zhang sp. nov., E. (O.) calvata Qin & Liu sp. nov. Habitus photos and illustrations of male genitalia of these new species are given. A key to males of all three species of the subgenus is also provided.

Acropsis Grant, 1958 is a monotypic genus with records only for Peru (type locality). Acropsis is being redescribed, including the Acropsis tectiformis species and two new species: Acropsis solimoesensis sp. nov. and Acropsis julianae sp. nov. The male internal genitalia and the stridulatory file morphology for the genus is being described for the first time. Furthermore, the genus is registered for the first time for Colombia (Caquetá) and Brazil (Acre and Amazonas) and additionally notes on the habitat are made.

Mendozellus paralaredanus sp. n. from Uruguay and M. rakitovi sp. n. from Peru are described. M. asunctia Cheng is redescribed, the ovipositor is illustrated for the first time, and newly recorded from Argentina. M. serratus DeLong is transferred to Haldorus Oman based on the male genitalia structure, creating the new combination H. serratus (DeLong), comb. n. A checklist and key to species of Mendozellus are provided.

Six species of Pseudacroclita Oku are reported from China, two of which are described as new: P. damingshana, sp. nov., and P. mastoidea, sp. nov. Photographs of the adults and genitalia of the two new species are provided. Two keys to Chinese species of Pseudacroclita are given, one based on male genitalia and the other on female genitalia. Non-deciduous spiculate cornuti in the phallus are reported for the first time in Pseudacroclita. All specimens examined are deposited in the Insect collection, Nankai University, Tianjin, China.

The Oriental genus Physodera Eschscholtz, 1829 is revised. A key to species is provided, along with distribution maps, and illustrations of habitus and male genitalia of all available species. Two new species are described: Physodera sciakyi sp. n. (type locality: S. Sulawesi, Indonesia), and Physodera unicolor sp. n. (type locality: Zhejiang, China). Three new synonyms are proposed: Physodera parvicollis Van de Poll, 1889 = Physodera eschscholtzii Parry, 1849, Allocota sumatrensis Kirschenhofer, 1996 = Physodera eschscholtzii Parry, 1849, and Physodera noctiluca Mohnike, 1875= Physodera dejeani Eschscholtz, 1829.
