Considering the difficulty of information collection and integration due to the rapid growth of information, we need an efficient tool to do these jobs. A proposal is be put forward to build a data integration system to collect the source data and preprocess the heterogeneous data and then convert/extract data to the data warehouse. Through experiment and analysis, this paper designed an information process flow and implemented the data integration system, based on B/S framework with the database technology, to deal with the college related information.

This webinar introduces an approach to data access across heterogeneous data sources and Web service integration based on XML and XQuery. The webinar covers: using XML to create logical views of a variety of physical data sources, aggregating XML documents with relational data, consuming Web services in XQuery, and exposing XQuery as data services while writing, testing and deploying real XML and XQuery-based solutions. The paper conducts web service and analyzes Modern Manufacturing Enterprises heterogeneous data source and proposes a heterogeneous data integration system based Web Services. The system provides a possible approach to share and interactive enterprise data.

With the continuous expansion of the scale of the power grid and the continuous increase in the proportion of new energy and power electronic equipment, higher requirements are placed on the basic data of the online security analysis of the power grid. This paper proposes a multi-source data integration system for large power grid operation. It studies the rapid interaction and intelligent integration of multi-source heterogeneous information such as offline and online models, breaking the technical application barriers of various types of data, and quickly generating real-time power grid model. The analysis model provides a reliable data basis for the online analysis of the power grid. Finally, based on the PSASP simulation software, the correctness and effectiveness of the multi-source data integration system of large power grid are verified.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) infrastructure is an emerging paradigm that offers new opportunities for the development of large-scale distributed systems. This architecture combined with the new techniques introduced by semantic web as ontologies encouraged the emergence of new multi-source data integration possibilities for sharing information. A challenging problem in such systems is to find correspondences between concepts of their different ontologies. This is a necessary step before locating peers that are relevant with respect to a given query. In this paper, the authors propose a new ontology alignment method which deals with both linguistic and semantic characteristics of concepts and uses graph structure to explore multiple depth levels of neighborhood in calculation of semantic similarity which is the most important part of their global similarity measure. This function is implemented into their new P2P heterogeneous and distributed data integration system MedPeer.

With the rapid development of information technology, the growth of heterogeneous Web data and the requirements of access to the Web of data also is growing. In view of this, a method of heterogeneous data integration based on SOA(Service-Oriented Architecture) is proposed. This method combines the technology of middleware and SOA design, using XML and Web services technologies, presents a framework of heterogeneous data integration based on SOA, and introduces the architecture of SOA data integration middleware. Experimental results show that this method reduces the coupling of heterogeneous data integration system effectively, and improves the scalability of the system.
