Filling pile is a common form of pile foundation work, it passes the superstructure loads to the deep stabilitily soil or rock , reducing the non-uniform settlement of ground and foundation. Because of bored piles is done underground, underwater, quality control is difficult. The construction technology and quality control measures of bored pile is been introduced.

Unexpected defects of concrete in a completed bored pile can arise during the construction stage. Therefore, post-construction testing of bored pile concrete is an important part of the design and construction process. The Cross-hole Sonic Logging (CSL) method has been the most widely used to examine the concrete quality. This method requires some access tubes pre-installed inside bored piles prior to concreting; the required quantity of access tubes has been pointed out in few literatures and also ruled in the national standard of Vietnam (TCVN 9395:2012). However, theoretical bases aiming to decide the required quantity of access tubes have not been given yet. A probability approach is proposed in this paper aiming to determine the essential quantity of access tubes, which depend not only on pile diameters, magnitude of defects, but also on the technical characteristics of CSL equipment. A viaduct of the Qinglai expressway fourth contract was artificial excavated piles. The construction technical work was regarded as an example. The technical comparison were done between the artificial excavated pile and the bored pile on the pile foundation bearing capacity and the retaining wall effect . The artificial excavated pile replacing the bored pile was feasible, and the construction technology and the key problems of the artificial excavated piles were confirmed. The references were provided to the similar projects.

Currently, bored pile been widely applied in the current road and bridge construction, But its construction technology in complex geological case is still not perfect. In view of this, this paper carried out a high-speed Lakes viaduct extraordinary pile foundation construction project. For the analysis of the technical difficulties in the construction process, explore get the corresponding key construction technology, and it relates to the accident and its approach are summarized, study drew long pile construction technology Lakes geological conditions under soft silt and clay, solve the long holes bored pile into the lake silt soft clay under geological conditions, verticality control and other technical problems, can provide reference for similar projects.

Pre-drilling is a widely used technique to get the detailed geological condition at the location of the bored pile foundation prior to its construction. It is often a necessary step for bored piles supported by strata, as its results are helpful for finalizing the pile length in design stage, which often requires the pile to be embedded into the rock strata at certain depth. The aim of the paper is to find the optimal (normally the lowest) point of rock strata at the purposed pile location, so that the optimal length required for the pile can be determined. To achieve this, geological prospecting data of the site needs to be analysed and the optimal pre-drilling point needs to be determined. The model developed by this study is based on the geological prospecting data and the pre-drilling results of a real project with a sharp slope of strata. It is found that by using the method introduced in this study, higher accuracy results could be obtained with less pre-drilling works required, hence the time and the cost of pre-drilling can be greatly reduced.

Highway bridge engineering is an important part of modern transportation system. It has a great effect on the devel-opment of modern society. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the construction quality of highway bridge engi-neering. At present, there are more and more construction technology quality control issues in the construction of high-way bridges should be given enough attention. The problems should be actively found out and effectively solved to improve the quality of life, while promoting China development of infrastructure construction. This paper analyzes the quality control strategies in the highway bridge construction.
