Conducting the performance evaluation of equipment supports parts supply chain timely and accurately can provide reliable information for equipment support commander to adjust equipment spare parts inventory policy. Fuzzy comprehensive hierarchy analysis method is used to evaluate the supply chain performance of equipment spare parts. The performance evaluation index system of equipment spare supply chain is established firstly based on the analysis of all the influence factors. The application steps of fuzzy comprehensive hierarchy analysis method to supply chain performance evaluation are illustrated in detail. A performance evaluation example is conducted at last. The evaluation result demonstrates that the provided method can give the performance level, which verifies the correctness and validity of the proposed method and provides an efficient method for supply chain performance evaluation of equipment spare parts.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present supply chain metrics and to propose a fuzzy-based performance evaluation method for lean supply chain. Design/methodology/approach – To understand the overall performance of cost competitive supply chain the paper investigates the alignment of market strategy and position of the supply chain. Since lean is applicable in many supply chains, the authors propose a set of metrics to evaluate supply chain performance. Moreover, the paper uses a fuzzy model to evaluate the performance of cost competitive supply chains. Fuzzy is an appropriate model method when uncertainty is present. It also allows modelling of a significant number of performance metrics across multiple supply chain elements and processes. Competitive strategy can be achieved by using a different weight calculation for different supply chain situations. Findings – Research provides optimal metrics for lean supply chains. The proposed method can measure the performance of lean supply chains using a fuzzy approach and competitive strategies. Research limitations/implications – The metrics which have been selected to measure the performance of lean supply chains is particularly applicable for high volume, low-price products. Practical implications – By identifying optimal performance metrics and applying performance evaluation methods, managers can predict the overall supply chain performance under lean strategy. By identifying performance for each metric they can also categorize the existing performance and optimise them accordingly. Originality/value – This study provides a performance evaluation method for supply chain managers to assess the effects of lean tools and competitive strategies.

With the development of society, environmental issues have been given more and more attention, and the improvement of public awareness, legal and environmental standards promote the rapid development of green supply chain. Combining with catastrophe progression method (CPM), enterprises who implement green supply chain are provided scientific and effective ways to manage company. Firstly, the evaluation process of CPM is given. Secondly, a set of green supply chain performance evaluation index system is designed on the basis of the connotation of green supply chain and environmental management standards, and the index system is designed by using dimensionless process. Finally, numerical examples show that the performance evaluation of green supply chain based on CPM has a higher scientific and practical application value.

According to the definition of integrated supply chain performance, improved method of grey relational evaluation and multi-level dynamic fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are adopted to comprehensively evaluate the overall performance of the integrated supply chain. Based on these, the Performance Evaluation System (PES) of the integrated supply chain is developed on MATLAB software platform. In the end, the validity and feasibility of the system is validated by an example, and the system can provide a convenient operation tool and scientific, objective decision basis for managers to evaluate the integrated supply chain performance.

The Performance Evaluation Index System of automotive Supply Chain is established in this paper. Considering the time-varying characteristics of the evaluation object, combining Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, multi-level dynamic fuzzy evaluation model is adopted to comprehensively evaluate the overall performance of the automotive supply chain. Based on this, the Performance Evaluation System (PES) of automotive integrated supply chain is developed on MATLAB software platform. In the end, the validity and feasibility of the system is validated by an example.

Due to limited materials and energy, more attention has been paid to the adverse impacts of the global economy’s rapid development on the environment and society. The sustainable and long-term development strategy becomes extremely urgent and important for the enterprises. Manufactures and their supply chain should take measures to implement sustainable development strategy in future production. The concept of sustainability is introduced into the field of supply chain and the structure of sustainable chain is constructed in this paper. And a method of sustainable supply chain performance evaluation is proposed. It evaluates the supply chain performance in four dimensions, namely, operational, financial, social and environmental dimensions. Then a performance evaluation model of sustainable supply chain based on AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is established. This paper gives a case to evaluate the sustainable supply chain performance with the model and implications are given finally.

Scheduling is crucial to the operation of logistics service supply chain (LSSC), so scientific performance evaluation method is required to evaluate the scheduling performance. Different from general project performance evaluation, scheduling activities are usually continuous and multiperiod. Therefore, the weight of scheduling performance evaluation index is not unchanged, but dynamically varied. In this paper, the factors that influence the scheduling performance are analyzed in three levels which are strategic environment, operating process, and scheduling results. Based on these three levels, the scheduling performance evaluation index system of LSSC is established. In all, a new performance evaluation method proposed based on dynamic index weight will have three innovation points. Firstly, a multiphase dynamic interaction method is introduced to improve the quality of quantification. Secondly, due to the large quantity of second-level indexes and the requirements of dynamic weight adjustment, the maximum attribute deviation method is introduced to determine weight of second-level indexes, which can remove the uncertainty of subjective factors. Thirdly, an adjustment coefficient method based on set-valued statistics is introduced to determine the first-level indexes weight. In the end, an application example from a logistics company in China is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract Performance evaluation of expatriate technicians is an important way for multinational corporations to effectively manage their expatriate technicians, which is crucial to the technological innovation of multinational corporations. This paper designs the performance evaluation index system of expatriate technicians, which includes work efficiency, professional competence, work attitude, and personal traits. Then, based on the C-POWA operator, the evaluation method of expatriate technicians is put forward. Lastly, using the index and method of evaluation of expatriate technician, four expatriate technicians’ performance are evaluated, and the results reveal that the index and method we put forward are scientific and practical.
