Product lifecycle management is one of the main developmental aspects of advanced manufacturing technology. Anti-fatigue design is the key content in product lifecycle management. For designing the fatigue life of shaft exactly and determining the assessment method, the influencing factors must be realized roundly. The mechanical model of shaft is set up at first, and then the main factors that affect the fatigue life of shaft is discussed, the interrelations of the main factors and the framework are founded. The assessment equation of fatigue life for shaft is put forward and the influencing coefficient of multi-axial stress to fatigue life is analyzed. The results of this paper will establish the base of anti-fatigue and assessment life of shaft.

Anti-fatigue design is a key content in product lifecycle management and there are many factors to affect the fatigue life of parts. For designing the fatigue life of shaft with a circumferential notch exactly, the influencing factors have been analyzed completely. The mechanics model for assessing the fatigue life of shaft is set up. The assessment method of fatigue life for shaft is set up according to the traditional fatigue life estimation. The effect of wearing parameter to fatigue life is analyzed and the results show that the wear is an important factor to affect the fatigue life.

An anti-fatigued criterion of annularly breached shaft on mechanical design has been put forward, and the main factors that affect fatigue life of shaft are discussed. The interrelation of the main factors and the framework is founded. A new assessment method to fatigue life of shaft has been put forward according to Corten-Dolan’s theory modified Miner's rule. The effect of supporting conditions to fatigue life of shaft is discussed and the influencing parameters are obtained. The results show that the fatigue life of broad support in two sides is longer than that of narrow support in two sides. The results will establish the base of anti-fatigue design of shaft.

For designing the fatigue life of shaft with a circumferential notch exactly, the influencing factors have been analyzed completely. The modified mechanics model to estimate the fatigue life of shaft with a circumferential notch is set up. The assessment method of fatigue life for shaft with a circumferential notch is put forward. The effects of notch on stress concentration factor and fatigue life of shaft with a circumferential notch are discussed and the influencing parameters are obtained. The results show that the tip radius of notch has a great effect on fatigue life of shaft; on the other hand, the open angle of notch has a little effect on it. The results will establish the base of anti-fatigue design of shaft.

Predicting the life of part is emphasis base of Product Lifecycle Management, and is emphasis progress of modern product design. By exact and full analyze the influencing factors of real life of shaft, contribute to real life and design life coincidence of shaft. It can decrease property damage with product ahead of schedule failure. By comparative analysis and analytical method researched the influencing factors of shaft in used . The life predicting model of reality use is discussed and amended at present. It draws a reasonable predicting model of fatigue life. The model includes influencing factors of all in actual and decrease the error of predicting life compare with the life of real. It will establish the base of design of anti-fatigue of shaft.

Product lifecycle management (PLM) as a holistic process encompasses the idea generation for a product, its conception, and its production, as well as its operating phase. Numerous tools and data models are used throughout this process. In recent years, industry and academia have developed integration concepts to realize efficient PLM across all domains and phases. However, the solutions available in practice need specific interfaces and tend to be vendor dependent. The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) aims to be a standardized digital representation of an asset (e.g., a product). In accordance with its objective, it has the potential to integrate all data generated during the PLM process into one data model and to provide a universally valid interface for all PLM phases. However, to date, there is no holistic concept that demonstrates this potential. The goal of this research work is to develop and validate such an AAS-based concept. This article demonstrates the application of the AAS in an order-controlled production process, including the semi-automatic generation of PLM-related AAS data. Furthermore, it discusses the potential of the AAS as a standard interface providing a smooth data integration throughout the PLM process.
