Internet of Things (IoT) will lead to a technological revolution that will change the way people live and interact with their surroundings. Intelligent appliances combined with multimedia capability have been emerging in everyone's life. Smart home is one of the prominent areas of intelligent advances. Kitchen is considered as the center of our house, where the refrigerator plays an important role. Smart Refrigerator with Recipe Assistance will help in automating the refrigerator. The authors propose a system that would track the stock of ingredients in the refrigerator with the help of RFID tags and load cells. According to the availability of ingredients a list of possible recipes is predicted and suggestions will be given to the user. Whenever an item is identified by a RFID tag, estimations on the usage of ingredients are made and we can get notifications about the scarce products. The system will also help in checking the availability of ingredients based on the recipe user wishes to cook. The time required by an individual for manually checking the availability of ingredients in the refrigerator and then thinking about what to cook is greatly reduced using this system. Most of the information is automatically generated using RFID tags. Once the user logins into the application he/ she will be suggested the possible list of recipes based on the availability. Human intellectual power then can be used for new creative processes rather than using it for routine chores.

Tourism safety is the lifeblood of national tourism development, and tourism safety information monitoring is an important foundation for tourism safety management. The maturity of Internet information technology has led to the rapid rise of blockchain and the Internet of Things. In essence, the blockchain is a shared database. The Internet of Things can access all kinds of necessary information through various networks, such as heat, electricity, dynamics, chemistry, biology, realize the ubiquitous connection between things and people, and realize the recognition and intelligent perception of objects. This article aims to study a tourism safety monitoring information service system based on the Internet of Things and blockchain. This paper uses the principle of sensor ranging and electromagnetic induction, acoustic calculation, sensor calculation, and RFID tag distance to measure the real-time position of the person’s RFID tag information and continuous monitoring information of infrasound intensity to monitor and pre-warn natural disasters in the scenic area. Research results, it shows that this system can monitor disaster information in time and can effectively reduce the risk of injury by 10% –20% of tourists.

Traditional Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tag Equipment has some problems like these: it is difficult to realize if the tag is kept out, destroyed, or taken away abnormally. It cant accurately judge where the area the tag had moved to is. Besides, it is difficult to distinguish the right of the tag in the Tag Management. To solve these issues, this paper serves with a method which is based on the Internet of Things (IOT). It mainly includes as the following: the tag is activated in the Controlled Area, the judgment of the tag access the Controlled Area, whether the tag exists in the Controlled Area or not. These methods can reform the problems that the Traditional RFID Tag Equipment has.

A smart object can be any object that is connected to the internet and its used for any specific use. Numerous applications can be performed by making use of these smart objects. IoT is used in various applications and has obtained an immense growth in this technical era. Use of IoT in shopping can be of great use. Various research works have been propped to design various applications that could be used for smart shopping. In this paper, an RFID tag is attached to each product which consists of the information about the product. When a user tends to shop for a particular product he enters his wish list in the application provided in his smartphone. The application gives him the shops where the product is readily available and also gives the entire comparison of the product in all the possible shops. Some of the comparisons that are specified are the price difference, the location of the shop, the timings when the shop will be open and lots more. The user can compare all the possible comparisons and decide which shop he can buy the product. The performance evaluation of the application is done and numerous parameters are a measure to make it an efficient smart shopping system.
