The purpose of this study is to find answers to the research problem posed, namely the implementation of the long-term cooperation strategy between suppliers and companies through supplier commitment factors with companies and supplier communication with companies that can improve the company's supply chain performance. The populations in this study are suppliers of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2020. Data were collected using a questionnaire containing questions related to research. Furthermore, in this study a theoretical model was developed by proposing 5 hypotheses to be tested using Structural Equations Modeling (SEM) using AMOS software. The results showed that the function and existence of the antecedents of the Long-Term Cooperation Strategy have a high role in determining Supply Chain Performance. Based on the influence analysis, it can be concluded that Communication has a higher influence on Supply Chain Performance compared to Commitment.

Orientation: Manufacturing supply chains in South Africa are susceptible to various internal and external threats that continue to suppress their performance. Information is required that can be used by firms in such environments to overcome the existing threats and improve their supply chains.Research purpose: This study sought to examine the relationship between supply chain dynamism, information sharing and inter-organisational relationships and supply chain performance in the manufacturing sector in South Africa.Motivation for the study: There is a gap in literature on the linkage between supply chain dynamism, information sharing and inter-organisational relationships and supply chain performance in the South African manufacturing sector.Research design, approach and method: Empirical data were collected from a purposive sample of 340 supply management professionals recruited from 31 manufacturing firms based in Gauteng Province. Data were analysed using structural equation modelling, which involved a confirmatory factor analysis and hypotheses tests.Main findings: The results indicate a significant positive relationship between supply chain dynamism and both information sharing and inter-organisational relationships; between information sharing and both inter-organisational relationships and supply chain performance; and between inter-organisational relationships and supply chain performance.Practical/managerial implications: Supply management professionals in the manufacturing sector may use the results of this study as a tool in the diagnoses of supply chain performance-related problems, by checking for the proper alignment of the factors considered in the research.Contribution/value-add: These results validate the importance of effective supply chain management practices in shaping supply chain performance in manufacturing environments. By monitoring and responding positively to the changes in key resources within manufacturing supply chains, managers can be able to improve the sharing of information and develop better relationships among trading partners, leading to superior performance of the entire supply chain.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop and validate a scale measurement of supply chain operations reference (SCOR)-related performance indicators and proposed constructs, SCOR-related performance indicators as practices within the Indian manufacturing sector. Design/methodology/approach A literature-based model on SCOR processes with five constructs and respective performance indicators was empirically validated by using a structured questionnaire. A total of 155 respondents among Indian manufacturing sector participated in this research, and the returned questionnaires were analyzed by using structural equation modeling. Findings The study established a relationship among the SCOR-related performance indicators and overall supply chain performance indicators (OSCPI). The moderation effect of demographic characteristics, namely, employee size, company age and type of company showed significant differences between SCOR-related performance indicators and overall supply chain indicators. Research limitations/implications The scope of the study is limited to specific Indian manufacturing firms. The survey could not represent whole population of manufacturing sector. Practical implications The findings assist managers/supply chain practitioners in improving the performance measures identified using the standard framework, i.e., SCOR processes, overall supply chain performance measures as standard practices for Indian manufacturing sector for a profitable and sustainable business growth in global environment. Originality/value This research holds a value for suggested practices under SCOR processes and the proposed model for OSCPI, a path finder/performance measurement tool for supply chain professionals in the Indian context.
