The objective of the present study is to investigate the impact of inclusive leadership on project success with the mediating role of innovative work behavior and moderating role of knowledge sharing. Data were collected from information technology projects in Pakistan. After validating the proposed model, path analysis was conducted. The findings revealed that inclusive leadership is significantly related with innovative work behavior and project success. Further, the findings showed that innovative work mediates the relationship between inclusive leadership and project success. Moreover, knowledge sharing doesn't moderate the relationship between inclusive leadership and innovative work behavior. The theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the study are discussed in detail.

The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of perceived organizational politics on innovative work behavior and to identify the mediating effect of employees’ knowledge sharing. A  questionnaire survey was carried out to 493 minimarket employees. Pearson’s correlation analysis was carried out to identify the characteristics of variables and their mutual relations, an multiple regression was also conducted for Baron & Kenny's (1986)’s mediated effect analysis.  The finding suggests that there exists a negative relationship between perceived organizational politics and knowledge sharing, and a positive relationship between knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior.  With regard to the role of knowledge sharing in the relation between perceived organizational politics and innovative work behavior, results of knowledge sharing as a full mediator have confirmed the hypothesis.

Survey instrument was used to collect data from 769 employees of SMEs through self-administered questionnaires. Furthermore, correlation and structural equation modeling approach was used for the analysis of collected data.FindingsThe findings revealed that KS has a significant positive relationship with IWB. Second, FF and PE fully mediate between KS and IWB.Originality/valueThis study offers empirical evidence how to flourish a mechanism of IWB among employees in SMEs. Furthermore, this study highlighted some facts that should be meaningful options for human resource managers to understand the nexus of KS, FF and PE for enhancing the IWB among workers in SMEs.
