The adipic acid (AA), important precursor for Nylon production, was synthesized from cyclohexanoneoxidation by two ways, microwaves irradiation and  conventional method (under reflux) using H3PMo12O40 heteropolyacid as catalyst in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. In the order to increase the AA yield, several parameters as cyclohexanone/catalyst ratio, H2O2 concentration, solvent nature (H2O, CH3CO2H, and CH3OH, CHCl3 and CH3CN) and cyclohexanol addition to cyclohexanone were examined.  For both activation modes, the highest AA yields are of 26-28%. Whereas, with microwaves irradiation, the time gain is much more attractive 30 min compared to 20 h. Copyright © 2019 BCREC Group. All rights reserved

A cleaner alternative to the current inefficient oxidation of cyclohexane to adipic acid is presented. Direct oxidation of neat cyclohexene by aq. hydrogen peroxide to adipic acid is selectively achieved in good yield (46%), in the presence of the recyclable C-homoscorpionate iron(II) complex [FeCl2{κ3-HC(pz)3}] (pz = pyrazol-1-yl) and microwave irradiation, by a nitrous oxide-free protocol.

New microphotometer was constructed in our Laboratory Which deals with the determination of Molybdenum (VI) through its Catalysis effect on Hydrogen peroxide and potasum iodide Reaction in acid medium H2SO4 0.01 mM. Linearity of 97.3% for the range 5- 100 ppm. The repeatability of result was better than 0.8 % 0.5 ppm was obtanined as L.U. (The method applied for the determination of Molybdenum (VI) in medicinal Sample (centrum). The determination was compared well with the developed method the conventional method.
