Design-Prinzipien im finanziellen Reporting nutzen

Die Berichtsgestaltung (Report Design) ist ein zentrales Kriterium für die effektive und effiziente Informationsaufnahme aus finanziellen Berichten. Design-Prinzipien für die Berichtsgestaltung sind in der Wissenschaft bereits erforscht und etabliert. Dennoch stellt sich für die Praxis die Frage, ob sich die Umgestaltung von bestehenden Berichten lohnt. Dieser Beitrag zeigt den Mehrwert – gemessen als subjektive Benutzerfreundlichkeit – durch die konsequente Anwendung von wissenschaftlichen Design-Prinzipien im Kontext finanzieller Berichte. Anhand einer Fallstudie werden ein Prozess zur Evaluation von Report Re-Designs aufgezeigt und Handlungsempfehlungen für das Berichtswesen abgeleitet.
